BTS - Jin X Jungkook

Jungkook sighed for the umpteenth time. He had been trying to get some last minute studying done at the library but with no avail. Jungkook would constantly find himself staring at a certain blonde instead of his textbook. He glanced at Jin, who was currently reading. Jin's lips were slightly parted and his hair was sticking up in places from constantly running his hand through it. Jungkook smiled at his Hyung, who was oblivious of the younger's action.

Jungkook had wanted to confess his feelings for Jin for quite a while now, but he had no idea how. Jungkook was never good with words, and even if he did know what to say, he was too shy to do so. Jungkook was only ever confident when singing. It was something he was good at and, when he sang he felt infinite.

Maybe I should confess through a song, Jungkook thought. Yes that is a perfect idea. So Jungkook closed his textbook and left the library, giving Jin one last glance. Surprising, Jin had looked up at that exact time and their eyes met for a brief second before Jungkook turned away, his face was bright red.

After a couple of days Jungkook was ready to put his plan into action. He was to meet Jin in the school's gymnasium. There, he would confess to Jin through a song. Jungkook had asked Namjoon (Jin's best friend) to make sure Jin made it to the gymnasium on time.

So here he was standing in dark, pacing nervously, hoping everything went right. Jungkook wiped his sweaty palms on the back of pants and concentrated on what he had rehearsed earlier.

Just then the gymnasium door creaked open and in stepped Jin. He was wearing his school uniform, minus the sweater which was tied around his waist. Jin's tie hung loosely around his neck and hair was swept to the side.

"Oh hey Jungkook, Namjoon told me to come here. Care to explain why?" Jin questioned.

Jungkook froze for a moment, then the light kicked on and music spilled from the speakers. This took Jin by surprise and his head whipped to the side, trying to pinpoint where the music was coming from. Jungkook took a deep breath and stepped forward. He smiled, took Jin's hand in his own and started to sing.

The music stopped and it was dead silent. Jin wore a shocked expression as his mouth was hanging open slightly.

Jungkook spoke first. "Hyung, I really really like you. I've been wanting to say something for a while now..." Jungkook paused, looking up at the older male. "Will you be my boyfriend?"

Jin grinned. "I've been wanting to say something as well, I guess you beat me to it. To answer your question, yes. I'd love to be your boyfriend."

Jungkook couldn't belive what he had just heard. He had prepared himself for rejection not this.

Jin leaned forward and kissed Jungkook's cheek. "So um, what's your first period class?"

"I um m-math." Jungkook stuttered.

"Great, I'll walk you there." Jin smiled and linked arms with Jungkook.

Jungkook smiled to himself. Life couldn't get much better than this, could it?
