Bofur x Reader: Little Things

Third Person P.O.V

You were sitting in garden, at the back of your house, looking as your husband and soon 3 years old daughter were playing with ball.
You loved to look at them playing and actually wanted to go there too but your swollen stomach stopped you. You were at 5th month pregnant, so your stomach was pretty big already. You loved to hear the happy giggles of your daughter and to see the happy faces of them both. You remember when you were pregnant with (y/d/n), you were really scared to tell Bofur about it. The war had just ended and the kingdom was big chaos. But when you talked with Balin, it all turned alright. And now you two have beautiful little girl.

You looked how the last rays of the setting sun shined to your daughters hair. She has Bofurs brown hair and your shining, (e/c) eyes. She meant the world to you two and now there was second little lad or lass on the way. You two were really excited and even (y/d/n) was happy to get sibling. She had started to jump around the house when you had told her that she would become big sister.

Your thoughts were interrupted when you felt strong and warm arm warp around your waist. You looked next to you and saw Bofurs smiling face. "Hello love, having fun looking at us?" You giggled and kissed his cheek. "Yes, very." He chuckled and pecked your lips quickly. You rested you head to his shoulder and looked as the little girl played with her doll.

Suddenly you felt hand on your stomach and looked down to it. "How is the little guy doing?" You smiled and put your hand on his. "Right now he is being nice, but let's see when we should go to sleep." Bofur frowned and tapped your stomach little. "Now listen to me little lad, don't you be trouble to your mother!" You chuckled and caressed his hair as he almost had his face pressed against your stomach. "You can make as much trouble as you want once you've born, but not when you're still with mommy." He raised so that he was looking straight to your eyes. "She works really hard for this family." You smiled to him and he gave you sweet kiss.

"Ewww!" You two were little surprised of the sudden voice next to you. "Daddy? Why do you kiss mommy?" You giggled little and looked at Bofur. "Yeah why do you kiss me?" You smirked as you saw little bit pink on his face. "Well, lass, Daddy kisses mommy because Daddy loves mommy very dearly. And with kisses Daddy shows it to mommy." He smiled happily and relieved because he could actually explain it to his curious little princess. "Well... Does mommy kiss Daddy for the same reason then?" You smiled and nodded. "Yes, and mommy kisses you and your little brother or sister because of that too."

She looked at your stomach and put both of her hands on It."When is he going to come to see us?" You looked at her and smiled warmly. "We still have to wait about 4 months." Then you realized something. "Wait a minute, do you both think it's going to be a boy?" They nodded and Bofur chuckled little. "Why?" You looked at (y/d/n) and raised your eyebrows. She just smiled and pointed at Bofur.  "Daddy always talks of a little lad." You turned to look at him. "Is that true?"  He blushed and nodded. "It's not like I can help it! I just keep imagining little lad running around the house with (y/d/n). And I like the idea of a boy." You smiled and kissed his cheek. "Awwws... I didn't know you imagined things like that." He blushed even more and (y/d/n) giggled. "Can I go to play for little while?" You nodded and kissed her forehead. She giggled and kissed your stomach.

You turned back to Bofur. "Now, why haven't you talked to me about this imagining thing?" He looked at you and smiled shyly. "Because it's embarrassing." Your eyes widened. "What did I just hear? You find something embarrassing? Is the world going to end?" He blushed and hid his face to the crook of your neck. "Well, isn't it weird for me to think like that?" You looked even more surprised. "Why would it be?" He raised his head so that you could see his face. "I don't know..."

You leaned in and kissed him deeply. He kissed back and smiled to the kiss. "Maybe it's not that weird for me to think it... it's my child after all." You smiled to him and nodded. "Yes! Actually I would be worried if you didn't think of it." He smiled and kissed you again. "(Y/n), you know I love you right?" You looked into his eyes. "Well i'm not sure... After all we've been married for only 3 years and we only have one child and other coming... so I'm not that sure yet." You smiled. "Of course I know, you dummy! And I love you." He chuckled little and kissed you, when suddenly you felt two little arms around your stomach. "Hey love! Ready to go inside? It's starting to be pretty late and you should go to sleep." She nodded.

Bofur helped you up from the bench and then he scooped (y/d/n) up to his arms. You walked inside and when you reached the little girls room, she was already sleeping. You watched at the door as Bofur put her to the bed and kissed her forehead. "Good night princess." You smiled at the scene before you. This was something you had always wanted to have, even when you were just a little girl. Bofur turned and walked to you. You two took one more glance at the sleeping little girl before closing the door. You walked straight to your and Bofurs bedroom and started to get ready for a bed, when you felt how two arms found their way to your waist. "I had great day, Thank you love." You smiled. "Me too, Thank you. I love you." You turned and kissed him. "I love you too. He smiled and you started to lead him to the bed. You two went to lay down and you were resting your head on his chest. "Good night Bofur." He kissed your hair. " Good night (Y/n)."
