Legolas x Reader: Mine And Mine Alone

Your P.O.V

I was talking with Gimli about his home. I was always interested in dwarves. I think it's even bit weird, I was raised by elves, well... i am an elf. I grew up with Aragorn and he is really important to me, he is huge part of my life. I never met my parents so Aragorn, Arwen and lord Elrond are my family. Lord Elrond was the one to raise me and when Aragorn came to Rivendell he became like brother to me. Arwen again is like my sister, technically she is.

I have always loved reading about things I don't know about... I have never been outside the Rivendell before, so all this is so new and interesting. Even when i'm bit scared that I had to leave Ada. But i'm with Aragorn and Gandalf so I'm going to be fine. I remember when I was little and Gandalf the gray came to Rivendell for the first time. I always loved to listen to his stories about the world outside Rivendells safety. And now I can finally experience it all myself.

"And the big shiny mines. Oh... How I miss them. Did you know my father, Gloin, was part of the Thorin Oakenshields company? On the quest to reclaim Erebor?" I shook my head as an response while I listened to Gimli carefully.
It was sometimes hard to believe that all the amazing stories were part of middle earths history.

As I was listening to Gimli's story with Frodo, Merry, Pippin and Sam, I had this weird feeling. As if someone was watching me. But I just shook it off of my mind and continue listening to Gimli.

Legolas' P.O.V

'Why can't I be the one to make her look so interested?' As I was thinking I noticed a smirk on Aragorn's face. "What are you laughing at?"  He just shook his head. "Are you going to impress my sister by staring at her without her even noticing?" Oh... He had noticed. "Well I don't know what to do exactly, I have not felt anything like this before." Once again Aragorn just smiled. "You'll figure it out soon enough." I watched as he left. He probably went to hunt. I decided to go with him.

Your P.O.V

I have to admit that even thought I loved to listen to Gimli's stories there was one person I couldn't get out of my head. I did not understand why was that and I wanted to know. So I decided to ask Aragorn when he got back from hunting.

~ time skip ~ Third person P.O.V

It was early night. (Y/n) walked to Aragorn who was getting the first watch. "(Y/n)!" Aragorn smiled. "How was your day? Did you listen many stories again?" You nodded and went to sit next to Aragorn. "Brother... I have something to ask from you." His face got serious. "What is it? Is everything okay?" You nodded. "I think so..."

You told Aragorn how you couldn't get Legolas out of your head and how you couldn't focus on anything because of him. Aragorn listened to you carefully and started to smile little by little.
"(Y/n)... you're just fine... you're in love." Your eyes widened and you were silent for little while. "So this is what it feels like... So you have this kind of feelings for my sister?" Aragorn nodded. "What can I do?" Aragorn started to smile widely. "I know exactly what we're going to do!"

Next day you continued your journey. You were walking with Gimli as he told one of his stories again, this time you only were little bit more closer to him. Of course you and Aragorn had talked Gimli into your little plan. It didn't take long thought. He was more than happy to help with plan that would mess with the elfs head. You just hang there right next to Gimli the whole day. You even hugged him couple of times.

When evening came, you sat down with the hobbits and started to make some supper. You were thinking at the day and that how it didn't go like you planed it. You really hoped to make the prince jealous. But then again this would only prove that he didn't share your feelings. The supper got ready, everyone ate and started to go to sleep.

You were trying to find the right position but too many thoughts ran through your head. You got up and went to see who was at the watch. It was Gimli, so you went to him. "I can't sleep... could you tell me some story?" Gimli smiled and nodded. As you listened to his story, you started to feel little sleepy. You leaned your head to his shoulder and was about to sleep when someone pulled you up from there. "What the-"

You realized you were being dragged out of the camp. By Legolas. "What are you doing?!" Legolas stopped and looked at you into your eyes "I don't like it!" You didn't understand. "You don't like what?" Legolas looked at the ground. "Well the whole Gimli and you thing... I don't like it! I hate to see you with him like that!" You looked at him for a moment. "Wait! What!?! Gimli and I are just friends. There is no thing!" Now it was Legolas who didn't seem to understand. "But I thought-" "No! No no no no! It has been you all this time you dummy!" You threw hands at your mouth when you realized what you just said.

"What?" Legolas came little closer. You took deep breath and answered. "Well... we kind of like tried to see if... you liked me back... by trying to make you jealous..." Legolas didn't even wait for permission anymore he just smashed his lips on yours. You were shocked at first but started to kiss back almost right away. The kiss was very passionate and hungry. It seemed to last for several minutes but you didn't mind. When you two parted, you looked into each others eyes.
"I love you (Y/n)..."
"I love you too..."

~ Next morning ~ You were all eating breakfast when Gimli came to sit next to you with big smile on his face. "So how did the elf boy react?" You couldn't answer and all of them started to watch at your blushing face. Legolas didn't seem to like it thought. He got up and walked behind you. He turned your head so that you were looking at him and then he leaned in for really heated kiss. When he broke the kiss he looked at you for little while, then turning to Gimli.
"She is mine, and mine alone!"
