Boromir x Reader: Tell Me

 Hello guys!  So this one is little different, and sad... You and Boromir are in it, but not in present time. But you'll see what i mean.

Faramir's P.O.V

I was walking in the gardens of Minas Tirith, the city of kings, when i saw little girl running towards me. I smiled to the girl and opened my arms for her. She had bright blue eyes, like her father did and beautiful, long, (h/c) hair, like her mother had. She ran to my arms and laughed "Daddy!!" Her voice was so soft and kind, something she had got from her mother too. "Hey there little princess! What have you been up to?" She smiled to me and started to tell me how uncle Aragorn had showed her how to shoot arrow. I smiled and listened to her with real interest. This girl means the world to me, mostly because i have raised her, but also because she is the only thing that reminds me of her real parents.

"Daddy?" I turned to look at her. "Yes my dear?" For little while she went silent but continued then. "Could you please tell me about mommy and daddy?" I felt my heart sink. This was expected, because i had told her little while ago that i wasn't her real father. I know it's maybe little bit too much for a five years old girl, but she took it in well and even said that i would still be her dad. This just happened to be the first time she wanted to know about (Y/n) and Boromir. I nodded to her and smiled little sadly. "Okay, what do you want to hear?" She thought for little while and then smiled. "Tell me their story!" I started to think that how could i tell to five years old about them. 

~~Flashback memory to you and Boromir~~

 Third person P.O.V

You had always admired Boromir, he was honorable and wonderful brother and it wasn't surprise that so many looked up to him. You had started to develop a crush for him, but you were too shy to tell him. Little did you know he was watching you, whenever he had chance to do so without you noticing. He had always liked the way you treated other people. You were always so happy and kind towards everyone, he couldn't help but to fall for you, still he too, was too scared to tell you. Faramir had noticed that both of you were looking at each other when the other one wasn't looking, so he decided to help you two little. He put a letter to both of your beds. The letters asked if you two could meet at the gardens of Gondor. And of course the letters had either of your signatures in the end. 

You were now sitting in the garden, thinkin of what he might want to tell you while waiting for Boromir to come. At same time Boromir was walking towards the garden when his brother stopped him. "Going to meet (Y/n)?" Faramir smiled as his brother blushed little. "What if i am? She said she had something to tell me!" Faramir laughed little. "She actually does but she doesn't know about the letter you got, so... you have to tell her you like her!" Boromir's face went redder than tomato. "WHAT?! Oh, don't you dare say you gave both of us a letter telling that the other one has something to tell?" Faramir only nodded and Boromir groaned. "Because you two are blind! For god sake Boromir! She is head over heels for you! Now go and get your girl!" 

Faramir bushed his brother to the garden so that (y/n) noticed him. Smiling she got up and walked to him. She was smiling and Boromir couldn't take his eyes off of her. For little while it was silent but then (Y/n) spoke up. "So what is it you wanted to tell me?" Boromir felt how something was in his throat. "I...i have been meaning to tell you for a little while now that... that i like you... a lot." (Y/n) went silent. Can this be true!? Your crush liked you back! "Well... i have liked you too... for quiet some time now..." Smile appeared to his face. "May i.... may i kiss you?" Both blushed and (Y/n) nodded. Slowly Boromir lifted her head with his hand and started to lean in for sweet kiss. Kiss was short but full of love. When you two broke the kiss you just stayed there,  looking at each other.  For the rest of the day you two just walked and talked, hand in hand.

Little time skip

You were running through the halls looking for Boromir, You had big news to tell him. It had been year from your wedding and you were happily married. But now you were going to get another person in your tiny family. Still for some reason you couldn't find your husband from anywhere. "Where the heck can he be at time like this!" You continued running when you thought of the same garden where everything started. You smiled to yourself and started to walk there. 

When you got there you saw Boromir sitting on the bench and looking at the view. "Boromir." You called softly and he turned, smiling to you. "Hello love." You pecked his lips and smiled to him. "Guess what?" Boromir frowned. "What is it?" Your smile widened, you took his hand and put it on your stomach. He looked at you for little while confused, but then it hit him. "Are you serious?!" you nodded. He got up and kissed you passionately. "I'm gonna be father! I'M GONNA BE FATHER!!" You laughed at him and he hugged you. "(Y/n), I love you so so so much!" He kissed your hair and smiled. "And i love you, Boromir."

"Do you really need to go?" You asked your husband. "You know how big thing this ring is... (Y/n).. I'm really sorry. I need to go." He pressed his forehead against yours. You were on your 8th month of your pregnancy and your husband was leaving to get some ring that should be able to help our kingdom. "I understand... love, just be careful. I need you, WE need you back safe and sound!" You kissed his lips with need and fear. He kissed back with passion. You two stayed there in silence just hugging each other for who knows how long. Nether of you wanted to let go of one another.

You watched as your husband and couple of other men started to ride away from Gondor. You had feeling which you didn't like, feeling that you wouldn't see your husband anymore. You wished from the bottom of your heart that everything would go alright. If you only had known what waited you.

You were in labor, the so long waited little girl was finally coming to meet you all. You were bushing as hard as you could, if anything you wanted to see your little girl. Everyone had been waiting for her for so long and now it was only a matter of hours that you all would get to meet her.

At the same time Faramir was behind the doors listening to your screams, he had promised to Boromir that he would look after you and the child. As Faramir was silently hoping that everything would go well, one of the guards came to him and told that they had found Boromirs body. Faramir couldn't believe the guard so he went with him to recognize the body. He felt how anger and tears started to come to his eyes. How could his brother be dead! He left (Y/n) and their little daughter, without even saying goodbye! Faramir cried and shouted next to his brothers body. 

When he was ready he started to walk towards the room where you were giving birth to the princess. When he got there he knew that the labor was over because it was silent. He hated the thought of you crying, but he had to tell you. He opened the door and looked around himself. Everyone was crying, but he couldn't understand why. He walked next to your bed, only to find your face covered with sheet. He felt how tears started to stream down his face. You had got weaker in the last month but still everyone thought you could survive the labor. It seems it was too much for you. Faramir started to walk away while crying when one of the nurses came to him with small sheet package. 

Faramir looked at the little girl in his arms. She was sleeping and Faramir couldn't form words. She was so beautiful, he hated the idea that (Y/n) and Boromir couldn't see their daughter grow up. But he had made promise to Boromir, promise that he would take care of the girl and he wasn't planing to brake that promise. Faramir smiled at the girls sleeping form as tears fell down his cheeks. 

~~ End of the flashback memory~~

"And now here we are..." Faramir smiled sadly at the little girl who was trying to fight her tears. "Mommy and daddy did their best... didn't they." Her voice was cracking. Faramir hugged the girl as he felt tear roll down his cheek. "Yes, yes they did."
