Frodo x Reader: Rest Of My Life

Hello :3 So in this one Frodo didn't  have to go to the undying lands and returns to the shire with Sam, Merry and Pippin.

Third person P.O.V

You have to admit that you were shocked when you first heard that Frodo had left. But it wasn't only because he had left, it was the fact that he didn't tell you he was going.

You had really strong feelings for the adventurous hobbit but you hadn't told him about your feelings. And you got really depressed when you started to think that 'What if you're never gonna see him again?'  But you kept your cool so that no one saw your suffering. And you started to hope for the best.

But when you didn't hear anything from him you started to fear the worst possible things. And in the end you started to live your life.

You got new friend, his name was Ronnie and he became really close to you. You two did everything together and he made you happy. It was something you hadn't been for months when Frodo left. But still he couldn't replace Frodo from your thoughts. Some times you wished he could have done so.

You were sitting on a field with Ronnie and watching the clouds when you heard sound of hooves. You thought your mind was playing tricks to you again so you decided to ignore it. But when the sound got closer and closer you couldn't help yourself. You had to look.

You got up and started to walk. "Where are you going?" Ronnie followed right behind you and stopped next to you, beside the road. "What is it? (Y/n)?" You couldn't speak. You were so nervous, you thought your heart would burst out of your chest.

You didn't notice Ronnie was next to you before he took your hand into his. "Sorry! What did you say?" You looked at him in the eyes. "I asked that what is it?" You thought for little while and decided to tell him. "Nothing.... I just.... I thought it was him Ronnie.... I thought it was Frodo..." There were now tears in your eyes.

Ronnie tightened his grip around your hand and you looked at your hands. He took your face to his other hand and lifted it up so that you were looking at him and before you could do anything he kissed you.

You were so shocked you just stayed there and didn't know what to do. You didn't kiss back but you didn't move away either. You heard the sound of hooves coming closer and then... it stopped!

Suddenly you realized what was happening and you pushed Ronnie away from you and turned to look at the road.

Frodo's P.O.V

Others were talking happily about what they would do when they got home, but I was too into my own thoughts. 'I can't believe i can finally see (Y/n) again. I can see her smile, I can smell her hair and hug her. I can kiss her and tell her how I feel. Yes... i have had feelings for her like really long time.'

'Only one more corner and I can see.... (Y/n)?' I look at the scene in front of me, shocked. 'Who is that guy! And why is he holding her like I should be doing?!' 

Just when I thought she had forgotten about me and continued her life, I saw it. 'I cant bealive it.... wait... She pushed him away!' Did that guy just kiss my girl, MY GIRL!? And without her even wanting it. Wait is she crying? 'I'm gonna kill that guy!'

Your P.O.V

I turn to see Frodo's shocked face and more tears start to flow down my face. It really is him. I fall down on my knees and just look at him. I feel Ronnie's hands on my shoulders but I can't take my eyes off of Frodo... if I do... I fear that he's going to disappear. Frodo notices Ronnie's hands on my shoulders and his expression becomes dark. He comes down from the back of the pony and puts his hand on the sword. I realize what is happening and turn to Ronnie. "You have to go now. I'll talk to you later."

Third person P.O.V

Frodo notices the other guys leaving and starts to run after him. He throws his sword to the ground and jumps on Ronnie. He hits him couple of times. "Who the heck do you think you are!?!? And who the heck gave you the idea to kiss another mans woman!?!?" You froze at this. His woman? Does this mean... He cares for you... like you care for him?  He likes you back? Then you heard Ronnie speak. "Your woman?! Aren't you the one who left her here crying herself to sleep! And you know who put her together? ME!" This stopped Frodo. 'What? Why would she cry for me?' Frodo got up and looked at the guy. "From now on please don't go near her. She belongs to me! I know I did wrong but if I had said goodbye I could have not done it without crying! And i didn't want to risk her to come after me. She could have died!  Now I want to try make it right with her and that's why i'm telling you. Stay. Away. From. Her!"

(Y/n) was looking at the scene in front of her with tears in her eyes. She didn't care anymore that Frodo had left without saying a thing. All she could think of was the fact that he was alive and in front of her.

Ronnie got up and looked at her. "Which one do you choose?" All she could answer to him was. "Ronnie i'm sorry... but you never got Frodo's place in my heart." After hearing that he just turned around and left. Sam, Merry and Pippin realized they should go and leave you two talk, so they left too. 
Frodo turned to see (Y/n) and started to walk to her, walking turned into running and when he reached her, Frodo lifted her up and just kissed her. She didn't hesitate and kissed right back. The kiss was full of need and love. Both of them thought of never letting go of the other because they feared of losing another.

When they broke the kiss he let her down and they pressed their foreheads together, eyes closed.
"(Y/n) i'm so so so sorry for leaving you... it's just that everything happened so fast and I cou-" "shh shh, Frodo it's okay, it's okay... you're here now safe and alive and that's all that matters." Frodo kissed her again, this time more deeply and with more need.

"I love you Frodo." It was small whisper but he could hear it like someone would have shouted it to him. "I love you too (Y/n)"

They started to walk to Frodo's home hand in hand. That night all they did was hold on to each other and kiss at time to time. Frodo told about his journey. That was how their story started.
