Dwalin x Reader: Teddy Bear

Hello! :3 So another Dwalin x Reader ^^ I Think you have noticed but I love dwarves and hobbits from the bottom of my heart! But please enjoy!

Third person P.O.V

The company had stopped for the night. Sun was still on the sky but slowly going down. Thorin had split you into little groups. You, Bofur and Dwalin were getting the fire wood, Bombur and Ori were doing the food. And the rest were getting their sleeping places done.

You came to the quest because your husband came. There was no way you would let the hot headed husband of yours go on a quest like this alone. Even if his brother was there too.

Even thought Dwalin gives really grumpy feeling to others you knew what he was like to the people he loved. He was actually really sweet, well towards you at least. He would be like really clingy at times. He loved to hug you and warp hes arms around you when sleeping. But only at home, where no one else could see that side of him. Since you two left home he hasn't hugged or slept next to you or even kissed you once. That made you really lonely and actually even little mad, but you had a plan.

You were gathering fire wood with Bofur right next to you. This was perfect time to get your mission started. You started to walk towards Bofur and then tripped to your own feet. Falling straight on Bofur. "Bofur watch out!!" He turned to look at you and grabbed you just before you two fell to the ground. The plan? It was to make Dwalin so jealous he had to cuddle with you in front of the others to show them you are his and his alone.

"Wow! You alright there lass?" He looked at you with worried expression. "Yeah i'm fine, thanks." You smiled to Bofur and looked at Dwalin from the corner of your eye. You saw how he was glaring at Bofur.

You three went back to the camp and there you all went to put the fire wood down and Nori started to start the fire. You stood there watching him do so when strong arm took your wrist and lead you out of the camp. And you knew very well who it was. "What is it no-" You were cut off by rough kiss. Of course you kissed right back.

When you two parted you looked into his eyes. "I didn't like to see you so near Bofur." He looked at the ground. You lifted your hand to his cheek. "You're not gonna lose me." He raised his gaze to you. "If you start to show them we are a married couple!"

You looked at him with a bit sad expression and then started to walk away. When you arrived the camp you went to eat. You took your food and went to sit next to Bofur. You listened to his stories when strong arm once again took hold of you, but this time it didn't take you away from everyone. You turned to look at Dwalin whose face was bit reddish but you knew you were only one to see it. You then realized his hand was still on your waist and you smiled. "Thank you Dwalin." You whispered to his ear and he smiled. "Anything for my lady." This time you blushed and kissed his cheek.

At this time you two realized it had become really quiet. You started to look around you and everyone were looking at you. You laughed bit and looked at now really red faced Dwalin. "And what do you all think you're doing! Am i not allowed to be near my own wife!" You jumped little at his reaction but then smiled at his words. They smiled at us and continued to eat and talk. "

"Thank you love." You looked at him straight to his eyes and smiled. "Well I might have been little jerk all this time on this quest. Sorry about that." You put your food on the ground and hugged him.

He stayed there keeping his hand on your waist and eating while you listened to Bofurs stories. As the night went on, all of us, except Bifur who was on first watch, started to go to sleep. When you went to your sleeping place you noticed that there was another right next to yours. You looked at it and smiled to yourself. Then two arms found their way to your hips.

You turned and saw Dwalin looking down at you. "You know I fell on Bofur purposely today." He chuckled little and nodded. "But part of me is clad you did, now I can spent my time with you when ever I want and where ever I want." You smiled. "Only one part? What does the other one do then?" He smiled to you little again. "It's trying really hard not to beat Bofur to death." You looked at him little worriedly and then smiled again. "Well I guess we have to prevent that falling thing from happening again then."

You took his hand and went lay down. He went next to you and took you in his arms. "You know I love you right?" You were surprised at the sudden question but answered right away. "Of course I know. And I hope you know I love you." He hugged you tighter and you took that as yes.
"Dwalin?"
"Yeah?"
"I love you, and your my teddy bear. My own big teddy bear and i'm not making things bigger when I say I would die for you rather than live without you." You felt how he shifted next to you and you looked as he now leaned to his hand. "I know that's one reason why I fell in love with you. Your so determined. And you know, I would do the same for you. There is this one problem thought." You looked at him confused. "We can't let each other die ether. The other one couldn't take the suffer of being alone." You smiled and leaned up. "Yeah." You pressed your lips to his and you two share sweet kiss.

"Yack! That's so disgusting!" You two looked where the shouting had came from and saw Fili and Kili looking at us. They ran away as Dwalin was about to go run after them. "Honey! Leave them be and lay down with me. I wanna snuggle." He looked where boys had run but then back at you. "Okay." So you two went to sleep into each others arms.

Did the plan work you ask?
Answer: YES!

Sorry! This came late. I was writing it yesterday, or actually last night and I fell a sleep in the middle of writing :( but I got it done! And I hope you enjoyed it. I love Dwalin so so so much! ^^ okay, love you all byee!
