A series of two: "Incarceron" and "Sapphique." They're both amazing. The main focuses of "Incarceron" are Finn, a prisoner, and Claudia, the daughter of the Warden of Incarceron. The prison itself is a living thing, changing and breeding prisoners. Finn is a Starseer, meaning that he dreams of the stars of the Outside. He finds a Key, and it turns out that Claudia also finds an identical key, rendering it possible for the two to communicate with each other. Together, with the help of a few others, Claudia and Finn work to get him and his companions out of the Prison.

In "Sapphique," Finn struggles with his new duties as Prince Giles. Inside Incarceron, Attia and Keiro work endlessly to find a way Out and to Finn. In both worlds, the characters face conflicts with power and betrayal. No romance in this series, really, but it's still really good. It's written amazingly and without flaw.
