Your POV
You sat on the steps of the school with MJ just laughing at the idiotic people who went to school with you guys. You were about to make another comment when you felt your senses begin to heighten. Your heart began to race as you looked around for the oncoming danger but there was nothing in sight, that is until a giant monster thing fell before you.
"MJ run" You said
"What? I'm not" You looked to your best friend and shook your head rapidly
"Go now Michelle I'm not kidding" You said "ill be okay"
She just nodded and ran the opposite direction along with all the other frantic students, you ran into a small opening that hid you from the view of everyone and quickly took off your clothes and put on your suit. You climbed up the side of the building and ran to the ledge diving off and body slamming the creature back down to the floor.
"It's Y/S/N!" Someone cheered as you tried to hold down the struggling beast.
"Spider-Man" Someone else called out making you look around for Peter but the beast took that time and threw you off.
A sharp pain filled your body as you slammed into the side of a bus. You groaned as you slumped over on the ground, you slowly stood back up and saw peter trying to fend off the monster on his own.
You got back up and ran towards them the glowing of your power emitting from your hands as you shot it at the large monster.
"Where the hell did this come from?" Peter asked his voice slightly muffled by his mask
"No idea! It just fell from the sky in front of me and started attacking"
Peter and I were quick on our feet as we both tried to keep this thing tamed but it just seemed to be getting stronger and angrier. As I went to throw a metal pole at it, a loud cry filled the air and that's when I saw Peter laying on the ground. His chest rising and falling rapidly. I dropped the pole feeling everything around me slow down.
"Spidey" I yelled running towards him. My hands gripping his body.
"I can't..." He tried to say
"Shh, Peter it's okay" You whimpered "You're gonna be okay"
Just as you helped him up and was gonna take him to safety, that same creature came back and snatched Peter back into its grasp.
"Let him go!" You screamed
"I just want to see your full potential" It hissed "Spider-Man will die today"
You watched as Peter was thrown again, you ran towards where he was going and shot out your powers to catch him. You breathed out in relief as he fell into your body. You ran to a hidden spot where you saw the shield agents ready to take him.
"I'm not gonna make it" Peter murmured
"Shut up Parker. You're going to be okay" You cried "I'm not gonna lose you not today"
His body slowly fell limp making everything in you break. As Fury and Happy took him and quickly ran off, you stared at them. Peters hand dangling loosely everything seemed muffled. The ringing in your ears becoming the only thing you heard as you stared back at the creature causing damage.
Something inside of you changed as you felt a surge of power. Everything felt amplified, you get stronger as you charged at the creature and slammed it into the concrete. It's screech echoing through the air as you made it bleed.
"You killed him!" You yelled "You killed the only person I had left and now..I'm gonna kill you"
The fight had been different, the people of New York didn't fear the creature, they feared you. A new found strength and power took over you as you defeated the beast and left it there mangled and unrecognizable.
Your feet carried you to where you knew Peter was being kept. You didn't want to spend another second wondering if he made it or not.

2 months later
Peter was still in a coma. He made it but it was hard to tell when he would wake, crime rates had spiked in Queens. They had nobody to protect them anymore, you hadn't left Peters side for those two months. You laid your head on Peter's hand that was grasped tightly in yours as you cried.
"Y/N...the people need you" Happy said "You have to get back out there kid"
"I can't do it Happy." You hoarsely spoke "Not without him"
"He wouldn't want you to be here upset. He'd want you to continue living life and protecting the city" Happy said
"I can't protect the fucking city Happy!" You yelled standing up the anger raging in you "I couldn't even protect him"
"Calm down" Happy wearily said his eyes locked on your hands
You looked down and noticed your powers surrounding your arms and hands. You took in a deep breath and nodded before looking away. Your eyes stuck on Peter.
"I can't do this without him Happy" You said "I can't do anything without him"
"I know...but maybe this person can help you" You heard soft footsteps behind you and turned slowly to see a shaggy brown haired guy wearing all black.
"Hi I'm david" He said "You probably don't remember me"
"California" You said "I saved you from dying"
David smiled lopsidedly and nodded scratching his neck awkwardly. He walked a bit closer to you making you stare at him questioningly.
"Why are you here David?" You asked
"Because you saved me and now its my turn to save you" He said "You can't stay here if it's hurting you this much"
You began to shake your head but David gently held your face in his hands. His eyes looking into yours, you felt yourself tense up at the close proximity.
"You need to be Y/S/N before you hurt yourself more than you already have" He said "The people need you, without you they're at risk for everything"
"I can't leave him" You said once again "He needs me"
"You won't leave him. I will stay here with him and you can go save Queens from destruction" David said
"Okay" You said "For Peter"
David leaned down to kiss you but your eyes widened and you jumped back in shock.
"Dude! I'm 17!" You cried out "You're too old to be kissing on me man"
"Shit sorry" David blushes "I thought you were older. Forget that happened and just save your home"
"Weirdo" You mumbled leaving the room
