Your POV
It was your wedding day. You were about to marry the love of your life, you were nervous but way more excited. You smiled sweetly up at your fiancé, his lips pulling onto a large smile as well. You looked to the crowd of people who loved you as they watched you with large smiles, one face stuck out. He was the only one not smiling.
You remembered his touch and the way he kissed you roughly. You could hear the breathless words that you guys shared. He was your first love. He was your best friend. He was your Toddy and he always would be but you were getting married and he wasn't ready to settle down, what did it matter? What happened between you guys was just a drunken mistake. If you were being honest, you didn't think he'd actually show up because of how things ended.
"If any of you have reasons why these two should now be married, speak now or forever hold your peace" The Priest said making your eyes nervously scan the crowd
After a few moments of silence you looked back at your soon to be husband feeling the ease rush through your body as he smiled at you. Gasps brought both your guys' attention back out to the people who were looking at
"Toddy" You mutter softly as he stood there in his tux his eyes stuck on you.
"You can't do this" He said "I won't let you"
"Toddy sit down please" You said forcing a smile
"No, I need you Y/N" Toddy said shaking his head
"Toddy I am happy" You scoffed "I moved on"
"I love you" He said causing whispers to fill the chapel.
"What" You said
"Babe?" Your fiancé said gripping your hand
You looked back at him your eyes now filled with a new emotion. You looked at Toddy letting go of your fiancés hand.
"I know you cheated on me" You whispered looking at your best friend "You cheated on me with her"
More gasps filled the crowd as you looked at Toddy, he was staring at you with curious eyes.
"But I could honestly care less because I'm in love with Toddy" You laughed tears in your eyes "I love you Toddy"
He walked up to you and grabbed your face pulling you into a passionate kiss. You pulled away from him and let out a giggle
"I love you" He muttered kissing you again
"You owe me" You smirk "You after all did ruin my wedding"
"I made it better" He chuckled as he took your hand tugging you along with him out of the building leaving behind your screaming ex-fiancé and crying best friend.
Your heart leapt with joy as you held onto Todd's hand. You were happy with him, it was always him.
