Your POV
You sat on your bed staring out the window, the dark gloomy sky mirroring how you felt. The cool glass was pressed under your fingertips, you could feel the lump in your throat forming. Tears blurred your vision as you sat there, everything felt like it was falling apart. You couldn't comprehend what was happening to yourself in that moment. You just felt empty, lost even.
A loud clap of thunder rumbled the windows as rain began to heavily pour, the sudden dark storm matching the feelings you harbored within yourself. You laid down underneath the covers as you curled into a ball. Tears still falling from your eyes, you didn't want to be alone. Everyone left you eventually so what was the point of letting people in?
The jingling of keys made your ears perk up by you still lay motionless in your bed. The dark sky that had rain pouring from it making you feel more upset than before. Soft footsteps began to sound closer to your room but you made no movements.
"Y/N?" A soft voice called out along with a light knock "Are you in here?"
You stayed silent not wanting whoever was stood outside your door to bother you. The door was slowly opened, you still remained still. You could care less about who showed up in your home.
"Hey" The voice said a body sitting next to you now "Y/N, please talk to me"
You slightly turned your head and saw David sitting by your legs. You look back outside with no emotion making him frown at you. David has noticed how down you've recently become and wanted to make sure you were fine but he doesn't believe you are.
"Go home David" You softly say your voice cracking with each words as you spoke "I don't need you here"
"You've been hiding from the world for weeks now"David frowned " what's wrong?"
"I feel alone" You admit "I'm lonely"
"You're not alone" David said crawling under the covers next to you. His warm hands holding you to his chest "I'm here for you Y/N, always"
"Thank you David" You mumble closing your eyes as you basked in his warmth.
A soft kiss was placed on your head bringing you warmth and a sense of comfort. You were not feeling as lonely as before but you knew that with David's help, you wouldn't feel alone ever again.
