Alex was always there for Y/N, no matter what the issue was, what time it was or where he was, he was there. He was the best friend anyone could ask for but the thing is, Alex wouldn't go out of his way for just anyone. He was in love with her, Y/N was the girl of his dreams.
He spent every waking hour by her side, he'd hold her in her times of need. Let her cry on his shoulder until she had nothing left in her. Alex was the guy every girl desired to have, someone genuine. Yet, even though he could easily find himself someone to love and appreciate him just as much, he couldn't do it; Not when he was in love with Y/N.
Alex praises the ground she walked on, he never stopped talking about her, ever. David has told Alex that if he wanted to get anywhere with Y/N then he needed to tell her how he felt before someone else took her away. Alex shook his head at the thought of confessing, he was far too scared. If he did confess to her could react two different ways, either Y/N felt the same way and everything would fall into place or she'd reject Alex and it'd put a strain on their friendship.
"Hi Alex!" She smiled wrapping her arms around his broad shoulders
"Hey bug" He grinned hugging her back "Why are you so excited?"
"Remember that guy I told you about?" She began "You know the one I met at the coffee shop?"
"Yeah what about him?" Alex said cautiously
"He asked me out on a date! I said yes" Y/N gushed "I'm so excited for tonight Alex, it's gonna be fantastic."
"That's great. I'm glad you're happy" He said feigning happiness
Y/N soon jumped over to Corinna and began to excitedly chat about her hot date. Alex felt his heart sink to the bottom of his stomach, David was right someone else had taken her away. Corinna glances at Alex, her eyes shone with sympathy and sadness for him. He shrugged a bit and went to sit with Todd, he sighed and rubbed his hand on his forearm slowlyZ
"It's okay man, she'll come around and figure out that you're her soulmate soon enough" Todd said in attempt to comfort the blonde boy.
"No Todd" Alex frowned "I'm never going to have a chance with her"
His eyes locked on her as she let out a laugh, Y/N's eyes slightly squinted, smile wide. Her hair brushed behind her shoulders as it swayed lightly. His heart raced a bit as she looked over and smiled sweetly at him before diverting her attention back to Corinna.
"I'm never going to get her" Alex frowned "I'm just a friend"
