Your POV
You were having a conversation with Liza about some makeup products that you guys had tried out but didn't like. You hadn't even noticed Todd who had his eyes locked on you as he walked your way. You looked to your right and spotted him getting closer. You smiled brightly at him as he wrapped his arms around you,and you let out a giggle noticing that he was completely intoxicated.
"Hi Toddy" You chuckle looking at Liza who stared at you both with a questioning look on her face.
"I'll tell you later" You mouthed to her making her nod with a small smirk
"Hey babe" David smiled kissing Liza on the head "Hi Y/N"
"Hi David" You grin lazily as you felt Todd mumbling about how you smelt like strawberries.
"Is Toddy okay?" David asked
"I want to say yes but he's so drunk right now so no" You giggle making David laugh
"Toddy?" David spoke "Get off of Y/N"
"No she's mine" He grumbled holding you tighter
You let out a squeak as you dropped your drink. Liza let out a snort as she noticed you were on your tippy toes now. You gave them both a pleading look but they only waved at you walking far away.
"You are terrible people" you called after them
You were now dangling in Todd's arms and trying so hard to make him put you back down but it just wasn't working out for you.
"Todd please put me down" You pleaded noticing how he was stumbling closer to the pool.
"I just want you to know that I love you" He slurred
"Todd" You yelled "We're gonna fall into the"
Your words were cut off as Todd fell into the pool dragging you with him. The cold water engulfing your warm body. You and Todd swam up to the surface gasping for air.
"Todd you're a drunk asshole" You groaned pulling your body out of the pool.
You were grateful that it was a warm night so you weren't very cold despite being in the freezing pool water. Todd was just hanging on the edge of the pool staring at you.
"Y/N I love you so much" He said getting out and grabbing your face "I have loved you since forever"
"Toddy you're drunk" You mumbled "You don't mean it"
Your heart was beating quickly in your chest as he brought his lips to yours. You heard Liza scream from inside and David's cheering but as you both pulled away and smiled at one another, you couldn't help but feel a bit sad knowing that it wasn't what you thought it was.
He's just drunk and horny this means nothing You thought to yourself.

The next day
Toddy
Hey whatever happened last night didn't mean anything...I hope I didn't make it weird. I'm also sorry about getting you wet
Your heart dropped in your chest as a tear slid down your cheek. You knew he didn't feel the same way. You sent him a text telling him it was fine and that nothing happened.
"I told you he would never feel the same way" You whispered to Liza who was sat in the chair across from you. David stared at you sympathetically gently rubbing your back as you cried into your hands cuddling into Liza's side.
Toddy wouldn't ever know how you felt and you would never know he felt about you either. You were both too scared to tell each other. You let out a sigh and wiped away your tears.
"He'll never know" You say
