Trans Pride Parade & The LGBTQ+ Camp |243|

  I just found out that there's a transgender pride parade in my town, which is cool. Obviously I can't go, since my parents wouldn't drive me, and I'll be out of town either way. But it's still really fricken cool that we have one here. I know that we also had a all inclusive pride parade too, I'm not sure if that was this weekend or last weekend, but I know it exists. I'm honestly not that surprised, since my state tends to be pretty progressive, and the LGBTQ+ community is protected by law here, including things like bathrooms and locker rooms for trans people, which is really great, though I'm kinda scared to use one anyways.

I need a transguy friend in real life so we can hit that milestone together. I mean, I could probably do it myself, since I pass 99.99999% of the time, but I'd rather not take my chances and get harassed.

I also looked more into the LGBTQ+ camp. I really want to go, but I'm not sure if I could convince my parents. I'd also have to convince someone else to come with me, because I really don't want to go alone, since I am slightly anxious when away from home. But I have until August to make a final decision.
