You slumped on your bed, phone in hand as you stared at the ceiling of your room.

Your phone vibrated and you checked it only to be annoyed.

(Random Guy Name) just texted you, 'How are you? Have you eaten dinner?'

He was your friend who apparently had a crush on you. You were the type to reject people nicely by replying an honest 'thank you'. But this guy just didn't stop and it was getting on your nerves.

After rejecting him, he responded that being friends was just fine for him. You were relieved that your relationship wouldn't turn as much awkward than it usually turned out.

So, from time to time, he would start a chat with you. You didn't want to give the impression that confessing made things awkward, so you still responded.

Until he became very annoying and persistent that you muted him.

Staring at your phone, your eye twitched and you yelled, "KARMAAAA!"

You and Karma were neighbors. Your houses were so close that you could literally crawl to his room from your veranda.

You swung your legs and head out to the veranda, "Karma!"

He came out wearing pajamas and his DS in hand, "What is it now?"

You shoved your phone to his face, "It's him againnnn."

"Just block him." Karma responded and continued playing, his back facing you.

"I would love to, but I don't want it to be awkward or weird between us."

"Who cares? It's making you uncomfortable, right?"

Just then, your phone vibrated again. You checked it out and let a groan.

(Random Guy Name) just sent you another message, 'I hope your meal was delicious! I'm going to bed right now. Good night, (F/N)-chan.'

"Can he not?" You said as you showed the message to Karma, "He's weirder than you."

"Honestly, you should tell him straight that you're not interested," Karma said, ignoring your comment, "And that if he still continues, you're going to drown him in hot water."

"Now, that's just mean." You said.

"I can help you with the drowning," Karma replied.

"I need something more convincing!" You said, "Even if I did say that I'm not interested, that would give him the impression that I'm still single and ready to mingle!"

He looked at you and raised his eyebrows, "Single and ready to mingle? Really?"

"Oh, shut up." You crossed your arms.

"Tell him you have a boyfriend or something." He shrugged.

Your eyes widened, "That is a brilliant idea! So, can you play the part?"

It was his turn for his eyes to widen, but he simply waved a hand and started to head for his room, "Good night, (F/N)-chan~"

"Don't ignore me!" You yelled, "Even I don't want to date a creepy ass weirdo like you."

He frowned as he returned, "How mean."

"I'm telling the truth," You said, "Who the hell sticks wassabi in people's noses?"
