"Isogai!" You approached his seated figure under a tree, "Ready for the movie later after school?" You grinned.

"You bet," He smiled.

"Great!" You said, "You don't need to buy snacks anymore. I have lots at home."

"Okay then," He said.

"See you later," You waved as you walked away, heading to your group.

"Oya oya~" Maehara peeked from behind the tree Isogai was leaning on, "Oya oya oya~"

Isogai chuckled, "What?"

"Movie? After school?" Maehara grinned, "A date is it?"

Isogai playfully punched Maehara on his shoulder, "No, idiot. It's just a movie at her place."

"Just a movie, eh?" Maehara said.

"Yes," Isogai nodded with a tint of red visible on his cheek, "Just a movie."

Maehara laughed and slapped him at the back of his head, "My best friend's growing up. Oh, how time flies."

Isogai pushed him and laughed as well, "What are you, my mom?"

"I'm your guardian angel," Maehara grinned.

"May I ask for advice, O guardian angel, Maehara." Isogai laughed.

"Man up and confess!" Maehara said.

Isogai blushed and Maehara patted him on the back, "It'll be fine. I'm sure she feels the same."

The bell had rung and you immediately walked over to Isogai's desk, "You ready?"

Isogai stood up, pushed his chair and slung his bag on his shoulder, "Yep!"

"Let's go then," You smiled at him as you turned to walk ahead.

You two were walking side by side to your house.

"It's been a while since I've been to your house, huh?" Isogai asked.

"Yeah, last time was when we were studying for prelims." You said.

"That's right. How's your cat, (Cat's name)?" He asked.

"(Cat's name)'s doing good," You hummed, "You'll be surprised to see him/her now. S/He grew a bit since you last saw him/her."

You stopped at your house and let him enter first.

"Pardon the intrusion," He said as he removed his shoes.

"I'm home, mom, dad." You called but no one answered. You shrugged, "I guess they're still at work."

"Meoww~" Your cat came to greet you.

You pat him/her at the head, "Hey, (Cat's name). Isogai, I'll just change my clothes, you go ahead to the living room."

"Okay," He said as your cat followed him.

Isogai sat on the couch, and set his bag on his lap. Your cat sat on the center table and stared at him, making Isogai feel a little nervous.

You ran to the living room, "I'm back." You looked at his posture and laughed, "Place your bag anywhere you like and make yourself at home while I go get the snacks,"

He let out a soft laugh and watched your figure disappear into the kitchen. He placed his bag down and relaxed a bit.

"Meowww~" Your cat said.

"Hi, (Cat's name)." Isogai chuckled.

"Meow~" Your cat replied.

Isogai's antennae lifted as your cat replied. He sat closer to your cat, "S-So, (Cat's name)."

You heard Isogai and your cat so you decided to peek a bit.

Isogai was red and was facing your cat, "S-So, yeah. C-Can I go out with, (L/N)?"

You let out a laugh as you entered the living room while carrying the snacks.

"(L-L/N)?!" Isogai said.

You placed down the snacks at the center table, "Why are you asking my cat for that?"

He blushed, "I-I..w-well. u-um.."

"I'd be more than happy to date you," You smiled and sat down beside him, "I guess this'll sorta be our first movie night date, huh?"
