Welcome to 2am Rants

Hi. I have school tomorrow.

It's basically 2am. I can't sleep, and here's why.

We're singing Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story from Hamilton, and there's two solo sections. From where Eliza sings "I put myself back in the narrative..." to "while she's alive we tell your story" and from where she sings, "oh, can I show you what I'm proudest off..." to "I can't wait to see you again, it's only a matter of time."

I auditioned for the second solo, and our teacher is telling us the results tomorrow, or I guess today now, and I'm really stressed out because I really want that solo, but I don't know if I'm going to get it.

My friends irl maybe know who I'm talking about, (if they went to the talent show last year, I believe she sang "like I'm gonna lose you" by Meghan Trainor), but this really good singer also auditioned for it.

She's honestly one of the best singers I ever heard, and I'm really scared and nervous, because i really want to sing a solo in the Hamilton song.

But like, they way her voice is, is she's a pop singer. She does these scoops and falls that are defiantly give a pop vibe. But, the song (if you've heard it) is not. a. pop. song. But, I'm also scared the teacher will play favorites and pick her.

But she's heard me sing when I'm in her room after school when I was waiting for my volleyball practice to start. Of course I sung Heathers songs, but I sung Lifeboat and Freeze Your Brain, two songs that remind me of the Hamilton piece.

This is me probably being irrational.
