Egotistical Canadian (YoI EP 11 Spoilers) [Rant]

Ok. So I just watched this video about what YOI did wrong.

One of the points was how JJ f u c k e d himself in his short program was unexpected and was basically used to have Yuuri and Yuri(o) win 1st and 2nd.

Then there was this shit storm I read in the comments and...

Woo boy, I won't go into that...

But honestly, JJ got f u c k e d because of his nerves to win. Hearing Viktor saying that after Yuuri wins gold, they'd get married, and JJ saying that to his (now) fiancé, kinda put the "I gotta win this shit!" into his head.

It was after he flubbed his jump that he had that panic attack with the proposal and Yuuri, Yuri, Chris, Phichit, and Otabeck with him falling down that cliff thing.

Nerves can f u c k you up. Trust me! I had a solo prepared for a solo festival (now) 2 years ago, and I could play it basically perfect, and I screwed up because I worked myself up. That's what happened with JJ.

Granted, it was kinda unexpected, but something good to add to make this egotistical ass a bit... more relatable.

And saying that we had to read between the lines to figure out it was nerves that f u c k e d him, is stupid.

As we can see from Yuri and Viktor's language (in ep 12 for Vik-chan), like, bastard, bitch, douche, shithead, damn, this isn't for little kids.

Hell, Viktor being ass naked in the first episode should have signaled a warning.

(And Chris's free skate, but I don't wanna talk about that...)

Small children need everything explained.

Mature(er) people, don't.

They can read between the lines and figure shit out themselves.

People can figure out themselves that the pressure of the final, WHICH JJ STATES (I'm pretty sure) is why he got 3rd.

Like Yuuri in the Rostelecom Cup, his free skate specifically.

He screwed up because his emotional support, Viktor, wasn't there. He knew Makkachin could have died (hallelujah he didn't tho) and that would have f u c k e d Viktor up.

So why is it that in that, Yuuri messing up his free skate in the Rostelecom Cup, which didn't actually come out and say it was because Viktor wasn't there, can be acceptable, but JJ's fricken, anxiety attack has to be questioned?

I dunno...
