I kinda... forced her into doing the background, even though she straight up said, she'd do it 😂
So, I'm holding garland, and I got into the tinsel...
Anyway I had a lot of fun with this picture.
Maybe colab again sometime Cricket?
So, I'm sorry I haven't been posting much, I've been working on other projects.
Like, oneshots, I'm doing those again, and a YouTuber fanfiction, and I just started making characters with a few of my friends for a story.
I'm also working on story reboots. Like, JAELS, or just another equestrian love story, and MLH, or my little human, which is somehow 75 in fanfiction. I dunno how the hell that happened. lol
So, here's a story time!
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
So, it was during chorus.
For one of our chorus songs, we're singing When We Were Young and ending that's written for the sopranos, hits a G above the staff. (Btw, this is in treble clef)
Now, for Solofest auditions, this. Saturday. I'm singing When You Wish Upon a Star and an optional part I can sing, hits Bb.
Above the staff.
And I can hit that fine. My teacher, who I'm going to call Miss. F (first initial of her last name) know si can easily hit that G, because of that magical Bb.
So we're singing it, and when we get to that part, we kinda fall apart. So, Miss. F pauses her recording thing, and goes over our parts.
She plays the G on the piano, and the sopranos kinda, look at each other in almost sheer panic.
I'm sitting there being all proud because I know I can hit it.
So, she goes down the row, asking us if we have the note.
So, I don't know if it's because she knows I can hit higher or if I was sitting on the end, but she asks me first.
So, anyway, idk if I deleted this chapter here or not, but I went though a period of basically depression. It wasn't depression at all, I know that. But compared to my old self it was.
That's when I got really self conscious about stuff, including singing and instruments.
I'm still in that shy period, but she plays the note, and I don't sing, I stay quiet.
I feel put on the spot, but whatever.
She plays it again, and I sing it, on pitch, almost perfect.
I think. I dunno.
But, high notes for me, come out super loud. The acoustics in the room didn't help.
It was extremely loud.
So after I hit it, I'm just sitting there, and there was this one baritone, his name is Kyle, he was looking at me and whatever, and I think he knew that I knew he was looking at me, or whatever. But he said it sounded really good.
And while other sopranos tried the note, I can feel the heat, rising to my face.
Because it was so loud!
Like, wtf feelings? Why the hell you do this to me??!! 😂😂😂
Anyway, out of the... 6 sopranos, 2 could hit the note, including me.
