You were there with him at the beginning. You were also one of the biggest fans of the band. Rob has a beautiful voice and you loved hearing him sing. You would always be a fan of Louden Swain, now they were fairly known and playing lots of shows. You were always in the crowd singing along to every word. You and Rob have been together for years now and you weren't expecting at his show tonight for him to bring you up on stage. His voice came over the speaker.
"I'd like to bring a special someone up to the stage. She's been a big supporter of what we've been doing since the beginning. She also happens to be my best friend, (y/n)?" You feel your cheeks heat up and the spotlight lands on you. "Come on lets help her up on stage guys." Rob says into the mic. People in the crowd start making a path for you and you walk through the crowd. Your heart beating pretty hard right now. Once you reach the closest way to the stage Rob steps closer and a person in the crowd helps give you a boost up, your hand finds his and he pulls you up onto the stage with him. He smiles at you and continues to hold your hand.
"Alright everyone, this girl is the love of my life. She's been my best friend since we were kids, we started dating during high school and here we are today. But uh, there's something I wanted to do at this show." Rob pauses and you look at the band members confused a little as Rob hands his guitar over. Rob grabs your hand and gets down on one knee."(y/n) (y/m/n), will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?" You hear nothing from the crowd as they are waiting for your answer. You nod the tears falling down your cheeks. You finally find your voice.
"Yes, yes I'll marry you." He slips the ring on your finger and the crowd cheers and makes all kinds of noises. He stands up and kisses you softly. The band starts up She Waits and Rob starts up. You go to step out of the way and he grabs your hand pulling you up with him. After a few verses he pulls you to the mic and he encourages you to sing. You shake your head and turn red.
"SING!" Someone yells from the crowd and that sets the chanting. You find your voice and start out softly singing with Rob.
"She can't see anyone but you." You look at Rob. "Little girl hold on and wait it's not fair but fairness is overrated, wait and you will be saved..." The song continues but you are lost in the words and singing along with Rob. Once the song ends the crowd explodes and Rob pulls you along off stage with him. He kisses you once more and you both go to sign and meet the fans.
