You jump awake, your heart pounding in your chest. It's the same nightmare you've been having the past couple weeks. Ever since you hunted that djinn. You had the upmost terrible experience.. You didn't know the Winchester's. You pull your knees to your chest and try to stop the sobs. You forget Sam is even in the room. Dean hadn't come back from the bar yet. It was only 1 in the morning. You hear something move and then feel someone touch your back. You jump and find Sam staring at you.
"(Y/N), what's wrong sweetheart?" Sam asks.
"Oh god, sorry I didn't mean to wake you.." You respond soft.
"Hey no, it's fine. What's bothering you?" Sam questions.
"I've been having the same nightmare for the past week or so now." You say soft.
"Can I ask about what?" He questions again.
"The djinn. The things I saw." You frown.
"You never did tell us the complete truth did you?" Sam says softly. You shake your head and Sam sighs. He wraps an arm around you gently and pulls you to him. You turn a little red, hoping he couldn't see. You've always had a slight crush on Sam.
"No." You say speaking finally. "I didn't know you boys and.. I just.." You pause and Sam holds you tightly.
"Shh. It's okay." Sam says softly stroking your hair.
"Sam I couldn't stand the thought of losing Dean.. Or you. Especially you." You say softly pulling away.
"Hey, Dean and I don't want to lose you either." Sam pauses and then admits something else. "I couldn't stand the thought of losing you at all." You hold your breath and look over at him.
"Really?" You question soft.
"(Y/N), I care about you so much." Sam says touching your face. "How can you not see that?"
"I just thought you didn't.. I didn't.. I.." You stumble on words and Sam leans forward to kiss you softly. When he pulls back you grab his shirt and pull him back kissing him once again.
"Come on, you can sleep with me." Sam says soft.
"Sam?" You question soft as you crawl into his bed.
"Hm?" He responds as he wraps his arms around you.
"I've had a crush on you for the longest time." You say soft.
"Well now it looks like this is real, no more day dreaming." Sam says kissing your forehead.
"I never day dreamed about you." You say turning red.
"The blush on your face says other wise." Sam chuckles.
"Sam!" You exclaim. He just laughs some more and you snuggle up to him.
"Goodnight beautiful." Sam says soft. "Sleep, I'll be here when you wake up."
"Promise?" You yawn closing your eyes.
"Yes." Sam replies kissing your forehead.
