You had only been working hunts off and on with the Winchester boys since your uncle Bobby introduced you to them. You took a certain liking to Sam. He was sweet and didn't try endless pick up lines on you like his older brother Dean does. You worked with them when it came to the leviathans and that's when the worst night of your life happened. Not only were you kidnapped by Dick Roman, the boys played the stupid card and broke you out. You only had a broken arm but Sam carried you anyways. When you all ran to the van and jumped in Dick Roman started firing shots. Your uncle shoved you down and slammed the van door and Dean sped off. It took you a second to realize your uncle was bleeding.
"Bobby?" You say panicked. Sam heard your tone and he looks back. You check around and that's when you scream. Sam jumps up and comes back to you. "DEAN! Get to a hospital." Dean is confused but Sam told him to step on it. You try and get your uncle to stay awake. You couldn't lose him..he was the only father you grew up to know. You all got him to the hospital but it was unlikely he'd wake up. You tried to force your way into his room but a nurse caught you.
"You can't go in there sweetheart." She says soft.
"I'm his daughter." You say soft your eyes watering.
"Oh gosh my apologies. Here." She says her face softening. You thank her and take a seat by the bed. Everything draining from you.
"Come on Bobby, wake up. I'm not ready to let you go." You whisper soft. It felt like days but in reality, it wasn't long. The boys were able to get in the room and that's when Bobby struggled and somehow woke up. "Bobby." You whisper jumping up. He grabs Dean's hand and writes something down.
"Idjits." And like that the man you looked up to died. You lose all your breath. Dean and Sam are just as lost. A doctor pushes you out of the way and that's when you run. You run as far as your legs can take you. You run out onto the road and fall to your knees. You barely even hear the horn of a truck. You just wait for impact and that's when you are picked up and yanked out of the way. Your arm was still broken but you couldn't feel the pain from the impact. Hands are on your face and you look up and find Sam.
"(Y/N) are you okay?" Sam asks soft. You just shake your head.
"I'm fine Sam. But I think I just re-broke my arm." Sam frowns his eyes with worry. He scoops you up and carries you to the van. You refused to go back into the hospital to have your arm looked at. Dean jumps in the van after putting Bobby in the back. You couldn't so you sit on Sam's lap. He keeps his arm around you while Dean drives. Before long you reach the cabin you all have been staying in. You get off of Sam and head inside. Sam looks after you with a worried look.
"Sam, go. I've got this.." Dean says soft.
"Dean.." Sam starts.
"Sam, please. I see the way you look at her. Let me handle this." Dean says a little harsher than needed. Sam heads up to the cabin and heads inside. You had just finished breaking a lamp out of frustration. Upon hearing the door open you lean down and start picking up the glass. Sam frowns when he sees you trying to pick up the broken pieces. He grabs the broom and dustpan. You feel him kneel down by you. Looking up you find Sam. You relax a little and Sam helps you up gently.
"I've got it." Sam says softly. You nod softly and sit down on the couch. You pull your knees to your chest and wince a little when you bump your broken arm. After Sam cleans up the broken glass, Dean comes in.
"It's ready." Dean says soft. You hesitate and then stand. You walk to where Dean set it up. The two boys followed behind you, Sam with a worried look.
