"Ow." I winced as Louis gingerly dabbed at my nose with a wet tissue.

"Sorry." He whispered and looked up to my eyes.

"'S ok." I smiled shyly. He smiled back and returned to my nose. I shuffled my back further up the mirror and Louis leaned in closer. I was sitting on the counter where the sinks are and Louis was standing in front of me- tending to my nose. He'd managed to cease the bleeding but it still hurt like hell.

"Well I don't think it's broken." He said as he stood back to admire his work.

"That's good." I mumbled. Why did this happen to me? I can't even walk into school without being beat up.

"So what happened again?" Louis asked as he washed the blood off his hands. I lifted myself off of the counter and faced the mirror.

"I was walking in and then someone jumped out at me. They grabbed my chest and slammed me against the wall. They punched my nose, my stomach twice, I fell and then they kicked my stomach and left." I told the story again as I inspected my nose and fixed my shirt up.

"You definitely think it was Niall and Zayn?" He asked as he shook his hands off.

"Unless someone else has got a problem with me, yes." I said and turned to Louis to see if he was ready. He shook his hands one last time and walked over to me. He flung his arm over my shoulder like usual but hugged me closer instead of just leaving it limp.

"But you're ok now?" He asked in a cheery voice which kind of made it a biased question.

"Yeah I guess..." I mumbled.

"And I am sorry for what happened in the car." His voice returned to normal but I could hear a hint of plead for acceptance in his voice.

"It's fine. Thanks for- you know- this...." I gestured to my nose and I felt my cheeks burn as I get embarrassed when I compliment someone or receive compliments.

"It's fine!" He smiled and lent down into my hair. He gently kissed my scalp and my eyes widened. His arm hugged me tighter and then released me. "It's a good job that the traffic wasn't like yesterday. Cos if this had happened as well as the traffic jam, we would be so late. Luckily we've still got 5 minutes 'till assembly." He said as he looked at the time on his phone.

"Oh it's your first assembly!" He realised as he slipped his phone back into his pocket. I gulped as I only just remembered as well. There shouldn't be anything to be nervous about though should there? I'm hoping for just some boring announcements and an inspirational prayer or something. Louis led the way through the toilet door and down to the main hall.

As we got closer, the noise of conversation grew louder and louder. An angry teacher stood outside of the main doors, tapping his foot impatiently.

"Last ones in boys." He growled as he shut the door as me and Louis walked in.

"Sorry sir." we both said in union as we took the last two seats at the back. Three teachers walked down an aisle in the middle of the hall which led to the stage at the front. One of them was the angry teacher at the door, the other I recognised as the headmaster and I didn't know the third. The headmaster made his way over to the lectern and leaned in to the microphone.

"Morning everyone. Can we settle down please. Ok? Ok. We have a few announcements..." He whittled on about some sports scores and complained about some things and then passed the mic over to the angry teacher.

"Oh wait!" The headmaster ran back over to the lectern which caused a few giggles. I smirked but Louis was too 'cool' to laugh. "Can Mr. Tomlinson please see Mr Cage after assembly, thank you." The headmaster sighed into the mic and returned to backstage. I looked at worriedly but he didn't look to bothered. He must have seen me looking as he turned to me and shrugged. I frowned at him as I was confused as to how he was so calm and we both looked back to the stage.
