so I'm re-watching aot for like the third time after this bc I realized (finally) that I don't remember a thing about anything outside the base.

did condoms even exist then? like the only thing I could imagine for safe sex was pulling out but I'm just assuming there were no condoms. also, olive oil as lube is probably not sanitary don't do this ok?

"...and then she was there just in time so I didn't hurt anything!" again with the Ymir talk. I understand they're close but I really don't enjoy this. at any rate, you'd call me envious and who the hell wouldn't be? I'm her boyfriend and all she talks about is someone else. I'll get over it some day.

"(y/n), were you listening?" I shake my head at Krista and she sighs.

"dinner's almost over and you're tired, please go to your dorm. I wouldn't want to risk your health. " I nod as I stand from the bench of the table, and also make Krista stand to walk out of the cafeteria with me.

"if I'm tired I'm sure you're exhausted." with that being said, I walk her down to the girls dorm and hear a yawn coming from behind me.

"you don't have to do that... I'll be fine walking myself. " her words drag out and slur with each one and before I know it she falls asleep while standing. I can't help but laugh a little in the empty hallway as I carry her the rest of the way to the dorms. I believe all the other girls were still in the cafeteria... right?

I didn't really care either way; I just don't want to listen to Krista talk about "how you shouldn't enter the girls dorms with anyone else but me in there." this has happened more than once.

I open the door to the dorms and sigh in relief when no one else is in there. I walk over to the bed I'm so used to seeing at this point and look at the little rose sewn into the corner of her pillow. where she got needle and thread is beyond my knowledge, but it was so well done that even after I laid her down, I had to look a little more. the rose looked nice next to Krista's blond hair and rosy colored cheeks.

I decide to stop observing before Krista wakes back up, but before I leave, I hear her say goodnight. I smile.

"goodnight."

"is that all you're going to do?" I sigh when I hear Ymir tease me for not going up to Krista.

"I'm very much okay with staring. I don't have to actively pursue. "

"yeah, because staring her down isn't actively pursuing. stare any longer and she'll have holes through her head." I look at Ymir and she has that condescending look on her face, but she is honestly trying to help. I'm just that hopeless in love.

"you have that look on your face again."

"what look?"

"the 'I may or may not want to have sex with Krista' face." I bite the inside of my cheek.

"I wouldn't...Krista is-"

"-too nice for that? even if you think that you still imagine right?" yes I do, but I don't have to say that out loud.

"you said that out loud." I'm sure I'm biting a hole into my cheek by now.

"well I actually meant-"

"stop. I can't imagine what your past relationships must've been like, but this one will be different." with that, she walks away, leaving me confused. but not for long because Krista soon takes her place beside me.
