After the darkest defeat of the night, Blue had awakened himself from within a nice warm cabin. Brightly lit with brilliant decadence along the striped tan and brown wallpaper throughout.

His body covered with a nice red fluffy blanket. Blue attempted to arise from the bed. What followed after was excruciating, searing pain.

The boy unfortunately was tied down with rope and being unable to move, analyzed what looked like bandages laced around the bruises on his torso. He reached up to feel a bandage that was also snug around his cranium from where he had received that nasty gash from his last battle.

Not only was Blue tied up, but someone was there. Attending to his own bruised injuries.

"You're lucky you didn't receive severe internal injuries from that battle." Said an unknown female voice to the left of his bed. Blue was stunned to learn that it was one of the people we were originally tailing from Route five all the way toward Vermillion City.

The girl had tenderly placed her small hands on his abdomen. Doing her best not to apply too much pressure to his wounds. She had blue eyeliner around her eyes. A pink heart tattoo etched across her face just like we saw at the Daycare. Her face was filled with understanding and warmth as she bandaged another corner across the boy's dark blond hair.

The boy flailed and grunted toward her with grit. Wiggling as much as he could to try and free himself from the bondage placed before him.

"Let me go, now!"

What did she understand about this circumstance? He just got injured from a powerful exchange between the evil Team Rocket and now Team Love had the gall to humiliate and restrain him?

"Relax, I didn't want you to strain yourself, you seem like the type of kid that would just go looking for the man and injuring yourself even more." Assured the girl with diamond colored hair.

"Why are you helping me Penny?" Inquired Blue with skepticism.

"Stubborn aren't you? Just 'cause I am a criminal doesn't mean I don't have a code to live by. I can still live my life knowing that I can serve others in need—

"That's not the point, you stole a Meowth! You take from people you don't even know!"

"You remain silent! That Pokémon was left by her trainer because he didn't want her." She explained with firmness in her tone.

"She made the decision to stay with me. I didn't force her to."

"Since when does Team Love have a code? You don't strike me as one who lives and plays by the rules of society."

"Nope and you're right. I'm an Apostle, I do whatever must be done in order to save the Pokémon who don't belong to other trainers. But I can also be a Samaritan to save others from getting hurt from a serious battle like you. This member of Team Rocket seems to be the worst you've ever encountered. Am I correct in that assessment?" She asked with a curious quirked smirk.

The boy quickly reflected upon her question and nodded truthfully from her rational response. She was correct that this was the worst encounter he ever had in his Pokémon career. What's even worse, was the fact that he couldn't do anything about it. It's like the world was against him and his friends were paying the price for it.
