End Volume 7: Summary and Q&A

Synopsis:

The two Pokémon Trainer's Red and Yellow set course for Celadon City. Upon arrival, there is trouble-afoot as Team Rocket have laid bare their fangs on the Rainbow city of the region of Kanto.

A Game Corner situated in the middle of the town block is riddled with Team Rocket activity and with the help of Mewtwo's Psychic connection to Yellow. They now know that Team Rocket's Hideout is located there.

A fight ensues between a Rocket Grunt blocking the path of the Hideout and Red takes on one of the goons with his well trained Charmeleon. Upon the goon's defeat they discover a switch behind a large painting. Leading them toward an unknown staircase Yellow and Red pursue another Grunt who has a Pokémon in their possession they must rescue.

Down they descend toward the depths as Red and Yellow race against time to try and obtain the Silph Scope and under Mewtwo's attempt. Face the threat directly toward the underbelly.

Will these Trainer's be able to obtain the Silph Scope in time and come out of the incursion unscathed?

Authors Note—

Hello everyone and welcome back. I know I've been gone for a while, so let me just recap on what I've got planned for the story thus far. If you are excited to read more Pokémon Leaf Chronicles, be sure to upvote these chapters, I plan on releasing Part 86 very soon.

As mentioned in one of my posts, I've been taking a brief hiatus and focusing on my original story. I've spent hours trying to make sure I've finished the finale of my second draft and the book itself is BIG. 57 chapters total and over 150,000 words and over 560 pages!!!! Regardless of how epic in scope this book will be. There is sooooooo much that needs to be cut out from the original draft, lol! So that will be my focus.

I'm going to try to update the Fan-Fic as best I can to make sure we continue to optimize our weekly chapter updates. We've already made tremendous progress and even after being being halfway done with the story. I was honestly expecting more. If only Wattpad could provide us with more chapter options that would be ecstatic. Haha! 200 chapters is really not all that much but I understand why they had to limit it the way they did.

At any rate, we got to know a little more about Red's Father as we later learned about his name in this new arc. I included his name as Ferrari since he was a member of the Interpol. Giovanni clearly knew because he observed that Red looked just like him in this arc. Not certain if we are gonna be getting too much info about him later on as he is not the absolute focus of this story the MC Leaf is. But he is pivotal to Red's growth due to his fierce love and loyalty toward the family he once had.

Then we have Giovanni, a callous, merciless, gangster. With no other remorse other than his emotion toward the job. It doesn't matter who gets hurt with him. Its all about the organization and how it should be operated. Much like how I wanted him interpreted from the games.

There is a slight mess up after I read through the draft however. I remember writing lines where Yellow specifically states he knows that Giovanni has his powers. Eventually, I'll need to address Yellows lines that he spoke to Leaf once I review the draft after it's finished. But if you guys see anything plot wise that doesn't make sense, let me know and we'll tweak the plot to make it flow.

So far, no complaints from me though. This story was a labor of love and I love that you guys are all looking forward to seeing more. Be sure to let me know in the comments below, what you guys are most excited for?
