When the accords had been resolved and worked through, the Avengers were reunited. This didn't come without rifts in the group. The war between the groups settled, but what had taken place during that time was not. A lot had happened, friends fought against one another, things went down that couldn't be resolved by a simple apology. Thus the Avengers Mandatory Progression Sessions were in place, or AMPS for short.
Tonight it was decided they would be playing a board on the common floor. Tony was not so thrilled about the AMPS meetings that Fury had forced the team to participate in. He would much rather be spending time with Pepper and Peter on his own floor of the tower. Peter wouldn't hear of his dad skipping the sessions and Tony would do anything for his kid, so here he was, Playing a stupid team buliding game with the others.
Peter hadn't been introduced to the others, Tony wouldn't allow his son to get mixed up in the crazy activities of the Avengers. So today, Tony sat there not really paying attention to the others, his mind wondering when Petey would come home. Peter had gone on Patrol not long after he had finished his homework and Tony was getting a little concerned that he hadn't heard from the boy. Peter would usually come home to eat dinner at some point, relaxing with his family for a while before leaving again. But it was already 8:30 and there wasn't a Peep from the boy.
If he hadn't been dragged into the AMPS meeting, he would have called the boy through Karen for a quick check in. Tony could barely focus as his concern grew the longer the meeting went. A loud bang against the window snapped Tony out of his thoughts, his eyes meeting the blue and red clad vigilante spread flat on the glass. The billionaire didn't hesitate to rise from his spot and hurry to the window. "FRIDAY open the window now."
Dragging his son through the now open window, he held the boy in his lap and looked over his kid. There were multiple wounds leaking blood all over and Peter looked as if he had been put through hell. "Need help," Peter sputtered out, Tony lifted the boy bridal style and carried him off into the med bay. The others left behind as all that mattered in that moment was his son.

When Peter was patched up by the trusted Doctors employed at Avengers Tower, Tony sat and held his sons hand as he rested. This has been quite an exhausting night, resting his head against the bed, he fell asleep next to his kid.

After seeing such a spectacle, the Avengers were dying to meet the spiderman. Tony had denied there requested time after time, insisting that the man had just stopped by for some help from the man after a particularly bad fight.
They knew better though, the look of concern written on Tony's face when he saw the man was enough to prove otherwise. He never looked that way when one of them were injured, so there had to be more behind this spider man than a simple acquaintance. After a week of almost constant begging the man gave in, saying that spidey would drop in during the next scheduled AMPS.

After all that had happened, Peter hadn't been surprised that the Avengers were persistently poking at his dad to introduce Spidey. He had slammed into a window bloody and bruised, so he figured the people he startled would be curious. After some negotiating, Tony had allowed the Spiderman to meet the Avengers.
Peter was so excited to meet the people he had idolised since he was little. His excitement didn't mean he wasn't nervous to meet them. He had fought with or against them in a superhero war, so he wasn't sure were he stood with any of the heros. Peter knew what had happened after Tony had sent him back home to May, which didn't help the swirl of emotions he was feeling.
