Hello Lovelies! It's been a hot minute, but boy has life come to bite me in the butt. My normal updating schedule has been all out of whack, but for now i'll be trying to do it every other Friday. It may just be whenever, but we'll see. Most of my plans lately haven't gone well. I wrote this part as more of a view to the Peter Parker side of the gun for hire storyline. I've been really diggin the idea of having Harry and some other spiderman characters thrown in with the Avengers lately. Anywho, I hope you enjoy and have a shiningly wonderful week!

"Please Peter, I'm begging you!" Harry whined, groveling to the man who simply continued on with the task he was doing as if the other wasn't there at all. "It's just one event and it's totally in your element. There no one better I can think to have as my date then my prized inventor and very best friend." He huffed at the action, giving a dead panned look to the other. "I am all for your joint work with Stark Industries, the benefits would be spectacular, but I am not going to some frivolous party. We both know it's for looks and not brains. I don't have to remind you which of those you are among the two of us." The other placed a hand on his heart. "Man you know how to hit where it hurts."

"Come on! You're not too bad yourself. You'll blend right in." He didn't spare the man a look as he replied, "I don't care about looks, Harry." "But you care about science, and that's what you'll be there for." The other countered, getting another sigh from the working man. "Well I was assuming it wasn't because I'm eye candy. We both know your better off taking some bimbo then me. It would be a shame to make the head of the company look like a fool." Peter countered, prodding right back at the other. "I'm only a fool for you dear." The man's cheesy line gained him a whack to the head. "Don't be an idiot." He said, a disapproving look soon matched with a smirk, "Besides, you couldn't handle me if you tried."

"You hold the reins in this relationship." The other said, hands up in agreeance. "What is so important that I need to be there in person? I've already supplied the details that involve me as well as my own thoughts to the action. The future plans OSCORP would be able to be supplied by the workers and departments we have within. I see no reason that I need to be there to make pleasantries with buffoons who wouldn't understand a quarter of the tasks I accomplish.'' It was the other man's turn to sigh, falling to something more serious. "I know this isn't something you like to do, but i'm asking you this as your friend. I want to be sure this goes well. There isn't another person in his world I trust to stand beside me during one of the biggest collaborations in OSCORPS history. You're the bestIi got Peter, I need you."

He valued Harry as a friend, in his own way the company as well. "Fine, i'll attend, but do not expect me to be much different than I normally am." He responded, the other nearly jumping with joy, "I will also require the purchase of the chemicals I have submitted for my next project." The other lost a bit of that spunk, the project had been tabled over the fact these chemicals were volatile and expensive. High risk on their own and even morso during experimentation. "Fine, But you're not using them in here. I will not have half the building blown up by your mad scientist ideas." "Fine with me." "Great, let me know what you plan on wearing." The other mentioned, but then narrowed his eyes, "Actually, I'll handle it and have it sent to you." Peter just shrugged, glad to be allowed to work in peace.

This event was just as awful as he thought. One more old idiot with a brainless woman with over embellished features was going to make him jump out the closest window. Thankfully Harry knew him well enough, the two working together to get him an opportunity to slip away for a moment of peace. The balcony was the best thing he could ask for. The last of the sunset could be seen through the bustle of the city. It was a beautiful view, but he prefered the view from the top of Stark Tower. Even if he only saw it for a second, he remembered how nice it was, even the girl had thought so.
