Peter Parker VS Red Recluse

Red Recluse wasa figure known by many in New York, but no one would ever hope to see the figure themselves. A sighting of the spider was met only with death and to meet them would mean your demise. The killer seemed to have a type, anyone who hurt a child. The area was conflicted towards the killings, seeing as they helped children. They also knew he was a killer and by the looks of their kills, he didn't hold back.

Red stuck to the shadows, following a man who had just committed a hit and run. Killing a woman with a child and only slowing the car for a moment before continuing on. Recluse was sure this was the same man from a few weeks back he saw smacking around a woman in front of a club. In their books, it was time for the man to die.

As the car skidded to a halt, the man clambered out of the vehicle and stumbled towards a door placed in conveniently quiet ally way. Recluse silently climbed down the wall behind the man and purposefully made a subtle sound that made the man turn. The fear in the man's face as he saw the multiple blood red eyes was intoxicating for the spider. He watched the man run deeper into the alleyway, giving him a head start on a race he wouldn't finish.

It was a well known fact that when Steve Rogers couldn't sleep, he went for a walk. Tonight was one of those nights and his eyes wandered around the area. He liked to see what had changed in all the years he had been frozen. As he turned down a new street, his eyes wandered to a poorly placed vehicle that had smugges of red he knew was blood. The man looked around and saw the keys to the vehicle lying right in front of a door he was sure one of them opened. He could hear an unnatural pattern of dripping coming from deeper in the alleyway.

Steve made his way into the darker areas and followed a trail of frantic looked tracts. 'What were they running from?' he though noting no signs of someone else being there. That was until he looked up from the ground, noticing a truly gruesome sight. A man was hung in a web, strung up so he was unable to move. The truly disgusting thing was the state of said man whose eyes had popped out of the sockets with a trail of blood flowing from them and every other opening on his body. A puddle of blood and something foul laid in front of the man.

When Friday had awoken the available residents of the tower and sent them to the debriefing room, they swore it better be for a damn good reason. As soon as each member was there, Steve stood and passed out folders to the attendees.

"Late last evening had gone out for a walk," Steve said pausing,"I found something." He gestures to the group to open the folders. Faces contorted into looks of pure disgust, only Natasha remained with a stoic expression.. "What the hell did you get into Cap!" Tony exclaimed not happy to be looking at the gruesome police photos.

"When I called the authorities about this, I was told it wasn't the first time. I did a little research and found out that they have been at this for a while. They never really found out much, only a pile of bodies with the same MO and a name given by the people, Red Recluse." Steve said looking down at his own unopened file, knowing all too well the sheer amount of horrendous things it held.

"You want to catch him, don't you?" Bucky sighed keeping a stoic face. "I know it isn't saving the world, but this person is dangerous. They must have some sort of ability to do this and there is no one better than the Avengers to deal with it. So, will you join me?" Steve questioned the few faces sat in front of him.

As the three agreed to the task, Steve continued on with his lecture, "The killer has never let a target slip, all with chunks missing and barely recognisable. When the police interviewed people around the area they found out that their targets are always someone who has hurt a child, but it looks like the attacks aren't arranged. There is no pattern in the location of the victims, but they have the highest victim count in Queens."
