OH CRAP IT'S SHOOTING LASERS EVERYWHERE
Listen, I don't really know a whole lot about nuclear reactors, but I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to do that. But of course, at this point, Gordon really doesn't have a choice but to proceed, so you've gotta play red light green light with giant death beams.
There's also a classic "have to climb up a ladder but time it well so the death obstacle in the middle of it doesn't kill you" bit, but I forgot to take a screenshot of it lol.
But once we make it out of the death laser chamber, we come to a security station, and gain a new buddy!

He's right, of course. Just a ways down the hall, a crapton of aliens will teleport in on top of you.
...But... wait... if they don't teleport in until you get there... then how...

...Maybe he was just talking about even farther along...? Being in a security station and all, I'm sure he has access to various camera feeds...
