I watched Brie Larson's speech at the Crystal Awards and I am completely dumbfounded at the amount of people who are calling her racist and sexist. Towards the end she said one thing that was a little questionable, but she made it clear that she doesn't hate white people. She is a white person herself. There's nothing racist or sexist about what she said. I might not be understanding the situation completely, but I don't see anything wrong with what she said. To me, it seems that people are overacting.
I sincerely hope that I did not offend anyone by posting this. It was not my intention. Please try to see the bigger picture before and use logic as well as reasoning before jumping to conclusions.
