Fun fact!
The scene in 'A New Hope' when Luke is attacked by the sandpeople is so well-done. The beginning when one of them goes up to Luke and tries to hit him is so effective because Mark Hamil was genuinely fearing for his life. The actor who played the sandperson couldn't see through the constume and started swinging wildly, so Mark had to dodge the hits for real.
Poor Mark. He did a great job though!
