You Dont Like The New Singles

Harry and I were in the car on the the highway to get back on the plane to fly to the next destination. It was just me and him in the car & he was playing one of the singles in the car.

"What do you think of the singles so far?" Harry asked curious to know my opinion

"It's ok..i think I like it" I said giving a generic answer

"Well what do you think you like about i?" Harry asked more questions

"Babe to tell you the truth i don't mean to be rude but I don't like the singles it's like you guys literally sampled the Beatles & 1975 & changed the words...& it's slightly cheesy if I'm honest " I said trying to be honest but loving

"Wow that's a serious opinion" Harry said offended

"Well you asked babe I'm just telling the truth" I said feeling bad

"Well I respect your opinion you know it means the most.." Harry said taking it in stride

"Just because I don't like those two songs doesn't mean I won't like the album" I said

"I'm sure your going to like it........so what specifically do you not like about it or you don't like it because it's different?" Harry asked trying to get a responds in difference

"It's not about a different sound it's the lyrical content it's a bit cheesy & it disappoints me because I know you guys could have wrote something better than that" I said simply

"But does it sound different musically?" Harry asked

"For the essence of what you guys are as a group yes. I can honestly say if that was the goal you have reached for what you guys wanted to accomplish..but what I'm saying is I'm not a fan of the song & I just feel like you guys could have and maybe should have picked a better single. I think it's too safe...but what does that really matter your fans are going to get it to number one one way or another right?" I said trying to make him laugh but Harry took offense

"What are you trying to say....the music isn't enough anymore?" Harry asked offended

"That was just a joke Harry. & it's always about the music. I respect your craft & your artistry babe. I was just hoping the first single would make me feel I don't know....like yasss I'm feeling this new sound but I don't because it sounds super sampled from the Beatles...that's all I was trying to say. I thought you respected my opinion because I'm not afraid to tell you the truth of what I think...is it because I honestly don't like it now you want to be a way to me now?" I said curiously

"I do it's just the way you said what you said bothered me & I didn't like it." Harry said simply

"I'm sorry ok. I didn't mean to joke like that" I said sincerely

"Apology accepted" Harry said

"I won't ever say it again ok" I said making sure how sorry I was.

"Please..& don't hold back when I ask ok I love you for your honesty " Harry said

"I love you & I'll always will" I said
