Reversed Part 1

We were in the lounge room with the musicians just talking & then it was time for them to go to sound check. We waited on the sides. Honestly I don't feel right standing here because I feel insecure. I don't won't anyone on staff to get the wrong idea of us.

I want the best for Candice. I hope Josh is the one that will keep her occupied. There chemistry is undeniable. It's so cute how he was doing the most at rehearsal. Show off.

Rehearsal ended & the guys came off the stage. Harry started to walk towards us.

"Hello again. Candice & Y/n right?"

"Yes" we both answered at the same time with a smile.

"Wonderful I got both of your names right, how are you ?" Harry asked and to my surprise he hugged the both of us. We said how we were & talked for a bit. Then Harry went to get his mic. Everyone in the band came up stage to rehearse.

The sound check is getting me so excited for the show. I haven't been to many concerts. Mostly because they are way to expensive, & what's the point in going when you don't get to meet the artist. I guess that's just my logic but I'm sure I'm not the only one in this world that feels that way.

After sound check we headed to the hang out area and chilled until it was show time. I felt a little on the lonely side because really it's me. I get shy around people at times. But at the same time I know how to stand out & have presences.

It was almost time to go up & I needed to use the restroom before we headed up. I was walking to find it but I end up running into Harry again.

"Are you lost? What's wrong?"

"I'm ok, I was just looking for the restroom" I said simply

"Come I'll show you"

"Thanks" I said softly & Harry walked to us down this other hallway with the bathrooms.

"Bless you" I said & he chuckled at me. I used the facilities & then came out. To my surprise Harry waited .

"Thanks Again for showing me. You didn't need to wait for me. I don't want you to get in trouble. Nobody knows where you are"

"Trouble.....that's funny.& I wanted to so you won't get lost"

"Yeah, they can't start without you duh" I said criticizing myself.

"Are you excited for the show?" He asked me changing the convo

"Yes, this is my second actually legit concert. So I'm excited. I really like your music"

"Really?"

"Yeah it sure is"

"I'm glad you like our music by the way"

"Your welcome"

We walked in silence for a moment. The silence made me laugh.

"Sorry I'm awkward a bit"

"Am I making it awkward?"

"No it's me. I get shy sometimes & it makes it awkward "

"Your not awkward at all"

"Tell the truth"

"I am being honest"

"Yeah ok"

"So how long have you & Candice been friends?"

"We work at the same company for 4 years now & we just sort grew close on one random day. Then we realized we have some mutual friends so we just grew closer. It's like we are always meant to be best friends at this specific point in life."

"Wow. From what I can see it's your friendship with her blossomed beautifully. Hey you want to know a secret. You can't tell anyone not even Candice"

"What's the secret?"

"As quiet as its kept. I think Josh is going ask her out tonight.....shhhh don't spoil the surprise. You didn't hear it from me"

I laughed a bit at him.

"As quiet as its kept I knew this would happen soon. I'll make sure not to tell her. My lips are sealed" i said and we both just laugh at each other.

"So what do you have planned afterwards. What if he does ask you know they would want to be alone"

"Right. I'll just call a uber to take me home"

"Are you sure? Cause I can call one of our trusted drivers to take you home"

"Thanks but I don't want be an inconvenience"

"It won't be an inconvenience. I just want you to make it back safely"

"You don't have to worry, I'm positive I'll be ok"

Harr was on his phone. I put my hand over it.

"Harry" I said giving him the look to let it go. He grabbed my hand & kept doing what he was doing.

"You are not going to let this go are you? "

"Not at all" he said & I rolled my eyes at him.

"Think of it as a favor from a friend. I like to help out my friends. You are one of them"

"We're friends now"

"Yes, I see you more than once were the bestest of friends whether you like it or not"

"Wow ok"

Someone called for Harry.

"Be back later friend. I will see you on stage"

"Good luck hug friend?" I asked

"Thank you friend" Harry said hugging me and then he left.
