"You're not going anywhere," Yanjun told Scarlett, sitting at the dinner table that had plates of food on it. It was early in the morning and Scarlett was dressed in fairly nice clothes. She had done her hair and makeup to look nice for Andrew Carriera like her father had asked of her.

"What do you mean I'm not going," she asked.

The tension in the room was clear-cut and neither of them seemed to really care about getting rid of it. They were just stuck in their own anger bubble.

"I mean you're not going. Is that not clear?" He asked taking a bite of his food.

"You're not my father, Yanjun. You can't just tell me what to-"

"Well I talked to your father last night and he said you're not going."

"And what did you tell him," she asked crossing her arms over her chest. Anger and irritation was written in Sharpie on her forehead as she stared at him, he wasn't looking at her, but he could feel her anger radiating off her body.

"I told him you're sick and instead of you going, I'm going to meet Andrew."

Bullshit, Scarlett thought and went back into her room. She grabbed her purse and slung it over her shoulder before walking back out. Instead of going to the table, she immediately went to the main door and left without another word.

Of course, Yanjun followed. "What the hell are you doing, Scarlett," he growled grabbing her wrist and stopping her as she pressed the elevator button.

"I'm going to meet Andrew. I don't need you to do my job for me. I'm fine," she stated yanking her wrist from him.

"Stop being so damn stubborn and let me help you."

"I don't need your help, Yanjun," she said glaring up at him. His jaw clenched as he looked down at her with fire in his eyes, but she didn't back down. A couple seconds after, the elevator came and dinged. She turned, her hair whipping as she did so, and went into the small contraption, forgetting her fear of it. "Just fuck off."

"You've grown a lot these past couple of years," Andrew told Scarlett as he gave her a tour of his mansion after the two of them ate breakfast together. and talked about their fathers' companies . It was one of the biggest homes in Los Angeles (next to his parents) and also bigger than her parent's house.

Andrew stood 6'0 and had strong, broad shoulders like his father. He had grey-blue eyes and a rather large nose, nevertheless, he was a very handsome young man. He was twenty-five years old and was working under his father, acting as his shadow to get ready too take over the business like Scarlett was.

"Yes, well, we haven't seen one another since we were younger," Scarlett commented calmly, although there was a raging sea inside of her. It had already been a good three hours since she and Yanjun argued again, but she was still so upset.

"I heard from your father that you still love music," he said as they entered a large room. There was four windows spaced out, but lined along the wall to the left of them. The view was of the garden and a fountain that sat in the middle of a small maze like pathway. In the room there was a couple of old paintings that you'd find in a museum and there also was a large grand piano in the middle. "If you don't mind, would you sing something?"

Scarlett looked at the piano that was absolutely beautiful. Most of it was black, but it had a white, elegant design on the edges of it, it reminded her of a cake for some reason. "Why do you have this? You used to make fun of me for loving music."

"I didn't make fun of you. I just teased you about it," he shrugged, but she didn't see the difference. "But I bought it cause I pictured someone special would play it for me one day. Sadly, it hasn't happened yet."

Scarlett considered it. He had been nice to her while she was with him. He was such a stuck up child when she first met him, but now he was a totally different person.

"Very well," she muttered, even though she was happy to even be able to touch the piano. She took in the details of the instrument and thought it looked better than the hanging art in the room.

Andrew stood beside one of the windows, watching as her fingertips brushed the keys as she took a seat on the stool. Scarlett exhaled from her mouth, like a sigh of relief when feeling the coolness of the piano.

When she began playing, you could see her body relax like she was alone. Then came her voice, smooth and sweet like honey.

"They should be this way, Mr. Lin," Andrew's butler, Edward, said as the two of them made their way down a long hallway. They grew closer to the large room that Andrew and Scarlett had entered and Yanjun could hear the piano along with a beautiful voice. Sadly, for Yanjun, when they got to the room, Scarlett had finished.

"Mr. Carreria, Ms. Huang's assistant has arrived to pick her up," Edward said as the two stood in the doorway. Scarlett stood from the bench and fixed her clothes before making her way over to Yanjun with Andrew who walked beside her.

"Nice to meet you..." Andrew trailed off, holding his hand out to the other male who happened to be shorter than him.

"Evan," Yanjun said grabbing his hand and slightly bowed.

"Andrew," the older man nodded his head, allowing his hand to fall at his side then turned to Scarlett who was quietly watching. "It was nice to see you again, Xiulan. I don't doubt the two of us will be seeing each other soon."

"Of course. It was a pleasure to see you too, Andrew."

The two bid their goodbyes and Scarlett left with Yanjun.
