"Crimson," Yanjun said coming up to the girl who was laying on the couch on her phone.
The two of them were home alone since Zhengting went to pick up the children and the others went to the store to pick up snacks.
Scarlett ignored him and turned on the couch, facing the cushions of it. "Hey," he said shaking her shoulder as she typed.
"Yanjun, stop," Scarlett replied pushing him off her as she kept on typing. He let out a long sigh, but again, she ignored him. His eyes moved over her to her phone and he saw her texting someone named fairy princess.
"Who the heck is fairy princess," Yanjun asked out loud as he snatched Scarlett's phone from her hands.
"Hey," she shouted rolling off the couch as he took a step back and read their text messages. When he saw her going to grab it, he lifted it over his head, where she couldn't reach. "It's none of your business!"
"If you want your phone you're going to have to get it yourself," Yanjun sung seeing that the girl was pouting. He thought she was going to give up, but a spark lit in her eyes.
"Too bad I don't want my phone," Scarlett sighed, but Yanjun didn't believe her.
"Sure, Crimson. Then what do you want? Me to give you the phone," he tsked still holding the phone up like it was a treat for a dog.
"Of course not," she smirked and looked at him through her long, dark eye lashes. She caught Yanjun off guard when she placed a gentle hand on his shoulders before jumping and wrapping her short legs around his waist. Her arm snaked around his neck, steadying herself and pulling her face to him.
                              Yanjun was frozen.
                              "C-Crims-"
"Why so jittery all of sudden," she asked innocently as she stared down into him. Yanjun didn't dare look away from her, she was so close to him. If she leaned just a little closer, her mouth would be on his.
But not a moment later, Scarlett snatched her phone out of Yanjun's hand and leapt off the boy. "Thanks."
"I-You-That was a dirty trick," he stammered pointing a finger at the girl who shrugged her shoulders with a smug look on her face.
"But you fell for it, didn't you? You know, I was hoping you'd gotten better while we were on our break, but it seems you've gotten worse," she stated turning on her heels just as the front door opened.
"We're home," Linong's voice rung through the house as he and the three others came into view.
"Hey, ge. Hi, jiejie," Chengheng smiled at the two of them.
                              "Hey, Kids."
"Jiejie, I heard they're having a festival at your college sometime after spring break and guess what?" Justin said excitedly, but didn't pause to let her guess. "They're holding auditions for people to perform! Cool, right? We were thinking of auditioning. What do you think?"
Scarlett knew Justin and Chengcheng both loved rapping and Nongnong loved to sing. The boys usually goof around with music, but if they were serious they were really good.
"I don't see why not," Scarlett shrugged her shoulders. "You should ask the others if they want to too. I think it'd be even more fun if you guys did a group performance."
"Think of all the college girls we could get," Justin sighed out loud and Scarlett shook her head. She pulled her taller, yet younger brother towards her and wrapped her arm around his neck before giving him a noogie. "Oww!"
"You're not getting any college girls, Minghao. You're underage," she said letting him go. He rubbed his head as he stood straight, as if it would help. "Anyways, if you do decide to audition let me know and I'll help with the recording."
"Okay," he smiled as she walked past him, towards the staircase.
"Where you going, Crimson," Yanjun asked as she began jogging up the flight of steps.
"Away from you so I don't catch whatever you have," she said waving her phone at him. He watched as Scarlett happily left him standing downstairs.
"Your sister is on some next level shit," Yanjun told Justin who was on his phone. Although the comment was directed to him, a certain someone had heard.
                              "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!"
                              "Nothing, mother ting."

"I'm so excited for break, but it's probably going to be so boring without you guys around," Justin frowned at dinner.
They had one more week of school left and the others were all going to visit their families. It was a good thing since they all missed home often, but were too busy with school to go visit.
"You'll have Scarlett around. Stop being so over dramatic, you'll hurt her feelings," Zhengting scolded motioning to the girl who had food in her mouth. She quickly swallowed her food and wiped her mouth.
"Actually," she said placing the napkin down and spooning a bite of food. "I'm going back to America."
"What," half of them yelled while the others nearly choked on their food.
"B-But you just came home! You can't-"
"I'm not going to school there," she cut Justin off quickly. "I'm going there with Dad for some meetings and a conference. I'll be back by the end of break."
"Why," Linkai asked confused. "Why isn't Justin going too?"
"I'm going as his translator. Justin isn't going because Dad says he's still too young to attend," Scarlett lied easily.
"So I'm going to be alone," Justin cried.
"You can come home with me if you want," Nongnong smiled like the sunshine he was.
"You're not coming home with me," Zhengting and Chengcheng muttered at the same time.
"Anyways," Zhangjing spoke up, actually stopping himself from stuffing his cheeks. "We should have like a...family night on Friday before we all leave."
The group blinked at him and Xukun stood to his feet pointing to him. "Who are you and what have you done with Jing-ge?!"
"I'm serious, guys. It'll be fun and there will be MORE SNACKS!"
"Makes sense now," Ziyi muttered as Xukun dropped down back into his seat.
"I think it'd be a good idea," Yanjun spoke up thinking of his own little plan.
Scarlett may have been able to get him earlier, but he knew he'd make a comeback. He was going to win whether she knew it or not.
