Obito lay in Tsunade's spare room, his thoughts drifting through a sea of questions that had plagued him for some time. He lacked the energy to move, and the weight of his thoughts pressed upon him heavily. Occasionally, Deidara and Sasori checked on him, and he assured them that he was okay, even though it was far from the truth. A peculiar feeling swirled within him, a sensation he couldn't quite explain—a strange mix of emptiness and hope, a feeling he had long forgotten.

"That old feeling again, huh?" Obito murmured to himself, his eyes fixed on the ceiling. Memories from his past began to resurface, and he found himself transported back to a time before he was forced to work for the mayor.

In this recollection, he remembered his dying mother. He and his mother hadn't always gotten along; their arguments had been frequent, and they always seemed to find reasons to clash, regardless of whose fault it was.

Obito stared at the ceiling with a faint grin on his face, reminiscing about that poignant moment before his mother's tragic end. It was a memory etched into his soul, a bittersweet recollection of a time when things were different.

The atmosphere in the room was tense as Obito's emotions surged within him. He had been lost in his thoughts, his hand touching his head, tears forming in the corner of his eyes as he yearned for more time with his late mother.

"SASUKE!"

A sudden, unexpected shout from downstairs shook Obito from his reverie. With newfound energy, he quickly sat up, wiping away his tears. His gaze was fixed on the door, and the voice he heard was unmistakable. "Sasuke is here?!" Obito wondered, his heart racing with a mix of hope and worry. "So does that mean..."

Summoning all the energy he could muster, Obito swiftly stood up and left the room. He rushed down the stairs and froze as he witnessed Sasuke grabbing Boruto by the shirt.

"What?..." Obito muttered to himself, confusion washing over him. "Where are Itachi and (y/on)?!"

The scene before him was intense. Sasuke's grip on Boruto was firm, his face etched with anger and desperation. Obito noticed Sarada standing beside them, her expression cold and unyielding.
