"She helped you?"

Boruto raised an eyebrow, his surprise evident upon hearing his sister's account. It was unexpected for someone labeled as a murderer to come to her aid.

"And then?" he prompted, clearly intrigued by the story.

Himawari couldn't contain her excitement as she animatedly recounted the encounter. "She smiled! Oh god, her smile is so kawaii~" Her enthusiasm was met with an eye roll from her brother, who, though interested, didn't need every detail.

"Yeah, yeah, then what?" Boruto urged.

Pausing for a moment, Himawari continued, "I asked her if she really is a murderer, and her face became pale! Oh god, she looked so sad! But I can't tell if she really is a murderer or not..."

"How strange..." Boruto muttered, his thumb absently rubbing his chin in contemplation.

Himawari reached for her brother's hand and squeezed it, her voice filled with sincerity. "But, Onii-san, I think that she-"

"Boruto darling!"

Interrupted by a familiar voice, Boruto had to hold off on hearing the rest of his sister's thoughts. Disappointed, Himawari sighed quietly as she watched her older brother turn his attention away. She didn't want to admit it, but she had harbored resentment toward his girlfriend ever since they first met.

"Oh hey, babe!" Boruto greeted with a smile before sharing a brief kiss with Saki.

Himawari averted her gaze, gritting her teeth in frustration. If she had her way, she would separate her brother from Saki and run as far away as possible. Internally, she waved her hands in front of them, shouting that she was still present.

With an innocent smile on her boyfriend's girlfriend's heavily made-up face, Saki finally seemed to notice Himawari's presence. "Oh!" she exclaimed, as though she had just noticed the younger girl. "Hey, Hima-chan! How are you?"

Suppressing her irritation, Himawari managed a polite response, her voice sweetened for her brother's sake. "Ohayo! I'm fine as always!" She maintained a cheerful tone to put her brother at ease. However, he remained oblivious to the strain their relationship placed on his little sister.

"That's good to hear!" Saki responded with a hint of concern, noticing Himawari's injured arm. "Oh my, Hima-chan! What happened to your arm?!" She released Boruto and gently took Himawari's arm to inspect it.

Despite her internal disgust at Saki's touch, Himawari replied with a bright smile, "I got bullied and injured, but (Y/n) helped me and treated my arm!" She beamed at the memory, which had occurred just moments ago.

Saki's smile instantly faded, replaced by a bitter smirk that didn't escape Himawari's notice. "Is that so...?"

Before Himawari could delve deeper into the topic, Boruto decided to give them some privacy and excused himself. As he walked away, Himawari watched him with a hint of concern and longing, silently hoping that her brother would understand someday.

Once Boruto was out of earshot, Saki's demeanor underwent a dramatic shift. "Now listen here, you little piece of shit!" Her once-innocent appearance gave way to her true nature.

Himawari gasped and began to back away cautiously, maintaining eye contact. "Y-Yuuta-san... You're showing me your true colors now, aren't you?" Her voice trailed off in a whisper, her heart pounding in fear as Saki's hand gripped her neck, lifting her off the ground but not squeezing too tightly.

The hatred in Saki's eyes was palpable, driven by a fear that Himawari was trying to sabotage her relationship with her boyfriend, something she had done before. "Just shut up and listen!" Saki spat, shaking Himawari violently.
