Kenjirou Minami x Reader (Childhood)

Age 5

I looked over to Minami as he was building a sand castle in the play pit. He had one of the smiles that showed off his cute fang. "(Y/N)!" Minami chirped and he popped his head out from beside his castle. "Look at my castle!" He told me and I nodded as I looked at it.

"I like it Minami! Can I be the princess?" I asked him and he nodded grabbing my hand. "And I can be your prince! Just like in the fairy tales!" Minami said excitedly and put my hand to his cheek with a huge smile.

A light blush was glistening over his cheeks. "Now don't you forget that now (Y/N)! When we get older, we are going to live together in this castle!" He told me and gestured back to his sand castle.

I giggled and covered my mouth. "But Minami! We won't fit in that castle!" I joked and Minami looked at me with a pout. "You know what I meant!" He replied with a laugh.

Age 8

"Minami! Help me with this question, I'm so confused. It is hurting my brain!" I complained while throwing myself to the floor of my bedroom. Miami had come over for the afternoon for us to work together on our homework.

Minami rolled his eyes and leant over, picking up my sheet and sighing. "They are just times tables." He said and shook his head with a smile. I poured and pointed to him.
"It is still maths- you know I'm terrible at it..."

Minami shrugged and set it back down at he spot he had picked it up. "Sit up and I'll be able to help you." Heyold mr and shifted himself around so he could be closer to me, so he could explain the sums and help me out.

I groaned in annoyance but sat up anyways, grabbing my pencil and firmly putting my head down to work.

"You need to know maths, remember we need the measurements for our castle~" Minami reminded me, laughing with a smile before looking to the sheet and pointing to the first sum in the page.

Age 12

I ran through the corridors and out of the room, going into the playground I looked around and saw Minami sitting under our tree that we usually ate our lunch underneath. I panted and ran over to him, leaning against the tree and sliding down till I hit the ground, I took a moment to regain my breath.

"Don't tell me you got another detention." He said while looking at me with his unimpressed face. I through my arms up in defence, as I usually did. "Hey look, I didn't do anything this time I was simply-" Before I finished explaining myself his gaze became more firm and his expression read 'Don't lie to me'

I sighed and sat back with a pout. "I might've argued with the teacher..." Minami shook his head but still laughed either way. "One day you'll learn to control yourself." He told me and smiled as he began to eat.

I got out my packed bento and began to eat peacefully. Minami was always telling me not to pick fights with the teachers, but I couldn't help it! They made their statements so arguable that I couldn't help myself....

I sat my bento into my lap and sighed looking over to Minami. "Ok how about we make a deal with one another?" I asked him and his interest had suddenly perked up. He put a hand beneath his chin and leant on his leg. "You've got my attention." He said and waited for me to press down my wager.

I took a breath and looked to him with a smile. "You make sure that I don't get into trouble anymore and I will bring in any food that you want for lunch." Minami tapped his chin, "Where is the hard part?" He asked me and laughed as I punched his arm gently.

"You'll see when you try to keep me under control~" long story short, Minami never did manage to get me to stop arguing. That definitely wasn't going to happen anyways.

Age 16

A few years into high school, what a joy it was as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the assignments and the tests! (Salty Sarcasm detected)

I walked around the corner and sighed going into the library with my books in my arms tightly bound in a inescapable embrace. I looked across the room and saw Minami sitting quietly with his nose deep into a book.

I snuck up on his with a smirk and pushed my face up behind the book. "Boo!" I shouted to him and he let out a rather girly scream. I laughed and fell to the floor holding my stomach as I bellowed with laughter.

After being scolded by the librarian I sat up at the table and smiled at Minami, wiping away a tear of laughter as I calmed myself down. "So-" I began speaking as quietly as I could, "what are we studying for today?" I asked him and he looked up from his book showing me the cover.

A history of World War 1

I sighed and opened up my text book, Minami chuckled quietly as he watched me. "You aren't really one for studying are you (Y/N)-Chan?~" He teased gently and tapped is chin in gentle thought. "I don't ever remember you studying actually."

I rolled my eyes and giggled softly as I began to read through the fine text. As I looked over to Minami he winked playfully at me and went back to his reading.

'This is bad- very very bad.' I thought to myself gently and I felt my face grow hot as i bit down on my bottom lip. 'I'm getting feelings for Minami...'

Age 20

"(Y/N) you are impossible! Absolutely impossible!" Minami shouted at me and shoved his hands into his pockets, firmly pouting. I blinked in surprise. "You only notice that now? Wow you are definitely the next Doctor Who!" I slag at him and looked off to the side.

"I love you god damn it! That is what I've been trying to tell you!" Minami shouted at me and I felt my face grow hot with a blush. "M-Minami-" I was cut off by the feeling of a soft pair of lips on mine.

I gently closed my eyes and placed my hands around his neck, I smiled as the sunset on the beach was portrayed in the background. The crashing waves adding the background sound.

'It is about time dummy~' I thought to myself as Minami gently pulled away from the kiss with a huge and proud grin on his face.

((Precious chicken nugget~ A lil' chicken nugget that deserved so much more screen time! Just like lil' Pichuit baby!
