I stood outside the barn as Steven tries to introduce me to my new roommates. He was the one who saved me himself from that horrible gem, (H/G) (her gem). She forced me to fuse and then took over. It just wasn't right.

So no. I'm not in the mood to make friends as Steven says. I blow some of my hair out of my face and I wait. A tiny Peridot steps out looking excited, then a not as tiny Lapis Lazuli steps out, looking almost as angsty as me. Almost. "This is (G/N)!" Steven says and then I get a small wave from each gem. I nod and wave in understandment. Soon the Peridot goes back inside with Steven. I'm left alone with the Lapis Lazuli. "So, why are you here?" She asks and I raise an eyebrow but I don't exactly answer. "Well if you don't want to go first then I will," she says and I look up at her. "I was trapped in a mirror for thousands of years and Steven saved me, then I tried to go back home where I was captured before I could and sent back to earth. Only to be forced in a fusion with a Jasper," my eyes widen and I give her an understanding look. "I was forced to fuse with a (H/G). At least I know I'm not alone," I say and she nods.
We instantly become enticed into a conversation and we talk for hours on end, even after Steven left. After a long few weeks, Steven came back to visit, seeing me happy for the first time, talking to both Lapis and Peridot. Honestly i felt a strong longing for happiness I've never had before. Especially when I'm around Lapis. Honestly I hope she might feel the same, but I don't chose to ask her.

"Hey, (Y/N)?" Lapis asks waving her hand in front of my face and I snap back into reality. "Oh. Sorry! What is it?" "I need to talk to you. Like right now," she takes me hand and drags me out of the barn, away from Peridot and her Camp Pining Hearts. "What's up?" I ask after we're alone. "Well, lately I've been experiencing an emotion, and I want to try something. But I need your help," I feel confused but I go along. "Sure! How can I help?" I ask and she thinks. "Close your eyes," I blink a few times. "Alright," I do as Lapis said and then I feel a deep kiss on my lips. "Thank you (G/T)!"
