(Y/N) the one of Pearl's dreams. Pearl had no idea that a specific fusion also had an eye on (Y/N).
Soon the two found themselves bickering over who would win. They would go back and forward for hours, day after day. One day Garnet and Pearl had enough and finally decided to have (Y/N) decide. When (Y/N) had become a sweaty child and ran, Garnet had gotten mad in her room and defused. Ruby and Sapphire were angry and scared. What if she doesn't choose us? What if she chooses Pearl? Pearl will be (Y/N)'s demise! Sapphire had sat thinking for hours. Ruby on the other hand had been jumping up yelling about how Pearl always causes trouble.
Pearl had tried to dance out her anger but it would not be satisfied until (Y/N) had fully decided. What would Garnet even do anyways? Ruby or Sapphire would eventually get jealous of the other and they would spit not trying to make it up to each other and leave.
(Y/N) on the last hand couldn't choose. They couldn't ask their parents nor could they ask Steven for advice. (Y/N) had no clue what to do next. They thought and thought until they finally made a choice.
The next day after there thoughtful choice (Y/N) had stood in front of the two gems. "Garnet. Pearl. I choose..."
