(Your Pov)(ps. You can't talk)

Holy cow! Was all I could think when I saw all the water from the ocean gone. What in the WORLD did Steven do this time!? I ran over to the temple house thing and I knocked on the door.
No one answered. I run down the steps, tripping once or twice but successfully making it down.

*le time skip*

Soon afterwards the ocean had been returned and I found Steven many weeks after. "Steven what happened a few weeks ago?" I sign slow enough for him to comprehend. "Oh it was a gem. Don't worry about it." I furrowed my eyebrows. "'Don't worry about it?' That's what you tell me!? Steven I thought you could tell me anything! I..." my hands trembled. "I thought I was your friend..." I sign and walk off. "Wait! (Y/N)! It's not like that!" He chased after me. "The water gem... she wanted to get home and she was cracked so I helped her and she returned the ocean!" He tries to explain. I hadn't signed anything so Steven took that as an 'I am angry at you' and stopped me. "If she comes back I promise I'll show you!" I looked at him dead in the eyes. "Fine. But until then I am in silence towards you..." I quickly walk off. "Your on (Y/N)!"

Soon we had to leave BeachCity because of a Gem attack and came back soon later. I hadn't left but stayed in the safety of my own home. No one had noticed even though I haven't come out in a few weeks.
One day... I got a knock on the door. "(Y/N)! It's me! Steven!" I would have shouted: Go away! But I don't have a voice. So I couldn't. I kept quiet and sat down in a dark corner. There was a short pause before Steven spoke again. "(Y/N)... please... I know your there,"
Finally after begging and begging from Steven I finally opened the door, with a not-so-happy expression. "What. Do. You. Want?" "Just as I promised remember? I told you-" "yeah yeah. Let's just get this over with. Okay?" I quickly sign and we walk pretty far. Steven asked Greg for a ride to 'the barn'.
On the way, Greg had tried to talk to be but didn't understand my sign language. It kind of hurt but I got over it very quickly. "So what's the Beef Chief?" I ask Steven. "Oh just before I introduce you guys Lapis might not understand what your saying so I can help." I nod. "Okay."
"So your not mad anymore?" Steven asked excitedly. "Woah calm yourself. I never said that. But most likely yes." Steven jumped for joy and he ran to the barn. "Lapis I want you to meet someone!" He almost shouts to her. I stand patiently while Steven convinces her to come out and 'talk'. She really must not like taking to others. My though had just been completed when she came out.
She was marvelously a perfect blue shade with a mid drift and skirt. She looked like that one girl that everyone dreams about. (if you get my drift) "Hi, I'm (Y/N)," I sign slowly. Steven had seem to forgotten to translate and she just stared unimpressed. I look at Steven and Steven looks back at her. (I'll just stick with Lapis) "Steven," I sign. He kind of keeps looking until she whispered in his ear.
His face turned into pure surprise. "Oh my gosh (Y/N) I'm so sorry! I spaced!" "That's okay. Honestly I thought you somehow switched with your dad," Steven laughs and Lapis unaware stares at me. "Lapis (Y/N) can't talk." He fills her in. She kind of looks at me and does a follow me motion. I follow and she pushes me onto the back of the barn. Lapis smirks and let's just say
