Lapis stared at you when Steven introduced you to her. It wasn't a mean stare it was like an: I know you kind of stare. You had met a Lapis Lazuli back in Home World before the war. You were both supposed to meet up so you could run away bye she never came.
~Flash back~
"Lapis!" You shouted to her before she could take off. "What is it (G/N)?" "We can meet up after the war right? We can go and be together! Even if Home World doesn't like it!" Lapis nodded. "Of course (G/N). I'll meet you here. After the war, I promise,"
She had never meet you there. 'Maybe she forgot?' Your mind if filled with questions. 'No she couldn't have!' You waited for what seemed a long time and then left back to work, saddened on how your Lapis didn't come back for you.
~End of Flashback~
You had found a nice spot to sit down and enjoy the sunset. You laid on your back to see the stars get brighter. You couldn't tell but all day Lapis had been trying to get your attention. You weren't that good at noticing things but that was just your specific personality. Lapis sat down next to you. "The sunset here is pretty cool right?" She tries to make small talk. "Yeah, sure," you responded, your voice filled with boredom. "Why are you so down (G/N)? Isn't that my job?" "well your name isn't Bob," you rhymed back to her with a small laugh. "Well... I was Bob once," you laughed at her comment. "(G/N)..." she stared to say something. "What is it?" You asked not daring to say her name. "I'm sorry I couldn't meet you after the war. But we can be together again right?" Your eyes lit up and you engulfed Lapis in a large hug. "Of course!" You squealed in joy, knowing that the rest of your life would be with her.
