Chapter 29

KAYLAS POV

"AHHHH!"I hear Nadine scream before Cameron ducks her underwater.

After mine and Graysons...moment...we all got changed and dived into the pool.

"DONT YOU DARE!"I look Grayson DEAD in the eye.Seriously if looks could kill right now,he'd be floating on the water.

I feel muscular arms wrap tightly against my upper waist and suddenly my head crashes down into the water making a massive splash.

I make my way back up to the surface and rub my eyes.

"GRAYSON BAILEY DOLAN WAIT TILL I GET A HOLD OF YOU!"I scream and blink fast.

"God I'm so scared."he laughs sarcastically.

I swim violently over to him and use the water to push myself up and land on his hard back,because of impact Grayson goes underwater.

I flinch as an arm grabs my leg and Grayson pulls me down with him.

We both race to get back to surface and when we reach it,we both gasp for air.

We look at each other and laugh.

"You're such a cunt."i giggle.

"Hey hey.Im not a cunt."he defends himself.

"Yeah you are."An all too familiar voice says not to far away.Everyones attention moves towards a guy standing at my back door.

Ethan Dolan.

"E-Ethan?"I choke.

"Hey Kayla."he replies guiltily.

"Say that again."I plead.

"Hey Kayla."he repeats.

I don't know what to feel right now.A part of me wants to cry,another part wants to run over to him and kiss his irresistible plump lips and the other part of me is very angry.

"I came by to give you uh eh a present."he stutters nervously,scratching the back of his neck.

I hop out of the pool and walk slowly over to him.

"You haven't seen me in months and the first thing you can think of to say is ABOUT MY BIRTHDAY THAT YOU MISSED?!" I hiss.Yep anger has taken over.

My eyes sting.Heres the tears...

A few tears slip and I look away from him.

"At least you didn't find me in a pool rubbed up against your sibling."he growls back.

"FIRST OF ALL , ew.Second of all, I WASN'T rubbing up against your brother!"I yell.

"Hey Baby when are we leaving?This house is really dusty."A blonde bitch jumps out from behind him.

WHAT THE FUCK.

"And who the fuck are you?"I look at her ,then Ethan and her again.

"I'm Vanessa.Ethans girlfriend and you are?"she looks me up and down.

"Well I thought I was his girlfriend too but I guess that changed months ago.Also you can leave any time you want,both of you."I look Ethan dead in the eye.

I push past him and his petty girlfriend and march up to my bedroom.

"Knock knock."Nadine says outside my door.

Silence.

"Kayla let me in."she begs.

I unlock my door and jump onto my bed.

Nadine walks in and locks the door carefully behind her.

I sniff and a few tears slip.

"Awh look at you.Dont cry.Hes not worth your tears."she coo's.

"Well he got them anyway.Bravo to mister big shot viner prick for screwing up my life.Thats not even the best part.But what's really sad is I actually loved him.But guess what's sadder than that.i still do."

Nadine looks speechless.I can tell she desperately wants to help me but she's lost for words.

"Kayla."she strokes my back gently.

"Kayla."Another voice rings in my ears.
ETHAN.

"I'll leave you to it."Nadine leaves out the door.

I stand up slowly and face Ethan.

"Okay I know you don't want to see me right now but you deserve an explanation."he looks at me.

I nod for him to proceed,I'm afraid if I open my mouth I'll just end up sobbing.

"I did love you.Im so sorry.I thought that since I would be away for awhile you would forget about me...-"he's interrupted by me ;

"DID? So you don't love me any more?How could I fogey about you?Did I not show you how much I love you?!"I scream.

"NO OF COURSE I KNEW YOU LOVED ME!I didn't deserve you!I do love you Kayla.I do.But you don't deserve a guy like me.You deserve top notch dinner dates, someone who treats you like his princess,someone who tells you that you look beautiful when your having a lazy day, a person who loves you so much they'd never leave you.I know there's no way I can make up for this.I know that,I do But Im not asking you to forgive me,I'm asking for you to understand."he pleads guiltily.

"Understand?You want me to understand that you stopped all contact with me to make it better for me?You want me to understand that the guy I love left me for months without a word and dates another girl.You want me to understand that you love me,BUT your with SOMEONE ELSE?"I growl angrily,clenching my jaw.

"Yes."he whispers ashamed.

"You fucking bastard.If you just wanted to mess with me then please say that because this is way too confusing to handle.If you didn't like me THAN JUST SAY IT.Dont make up shit."I cover my face with my hands and shake my head.

"Kayla I still love you.God,I want nothing more than to kiss your beautiful rosy lips and caress your soft cheek,but i can't."he watched me remove my hands from my head.

"Why can't you?Because of Vanessa?"I frown.

"Because I will wake up everyday wanting to do it again and i know you will too.Because I don't deserve you."Ethan looks away from me.

"You don't deserve me or you don't want me?"I make him face me.

"Both."

"You've said enough.Get out."

"Kayl-"

"GET OUT!"

I am raging right now.He walks out my door and my brother Brandon was standing there.

"Yeah Ethan,get out."he growls.

Ethan struts forward and down the stairs.I shut my door and hop onto my bed.I cuddle under my covers and cry my eyes out.
