Chapter 4

KAYLAS P.O.V

We reach the grocery store and walk inside.

"Kayla." I hear.

I look around searching for the voice , I locked eyes with the cashier.

"Heya,everyone this is Lucas."I smile.

"Call me Luke." He shakes hands with the guys.

"So what are your intentions ?" Cameron asks seriously.

"Oh Jesus , Cameron." I turn to face him giving him a "seriously?" Look.

"What?im looking out for my sister." He puts his arm around my shoulders.

"Age?"he asks Luke.

"15,you?"

"19 but 20 in 2 weeks."

"Happy early birthday."

"Hmmm I like this kid."

"You guys can go."I step in.

"Okay okay but you have credit right ?" Cam asks with a look of concern in his face.

"Yes now go."

I watch the boys exit the grocery store and look at Luke.

"He really hates me." Luke states looking into my eyes.

"He hates everybody.Unless they're family." I laugh.

"So what groceries do you need to pick up."

"None."

We both laugh for a bit and he takes something out of his pocket and hands it to me.

"I know we're not dating but I thought it would be nice to give it to someone else.Will you go to a 'you me at six' concert with me?"

"YES,this is amazing I love the band you me at six."

"Be outside the grocery store at six,in two weeks." he winks.

"I have to get back to work.Lovely to see you again." He continues.

I give him a hug.

"Bye Luke." I end the hug and go back home.

I've seen Luke 6 times before Cameron came so I guess it's 7 now.We talk a lot on the phone and I think we know each other pretty well.Like talking to someone for about 5 weeks straight for hours has to be classified as best friends.

I don't have many friends.Well my age.I met the old Magcon (Nash , Hayes , Jack and Jack , Shawn, Matt etc) and talked to them for about 3 weeks on a trip Cam invited me to.We talk sometimes but not like best friends I guess you could say.

I knock on the front door and im greeted by Grayson.

"Hey Kayla."

"Hey Grayson."

He steps out of the way and I walk in.

"Wanna play truth or dare?" Brandon suggests.

Oh great basically a game to find out who you like.<- note the sarcasm.

Everyone agrees."Cam you go first." Ethan says eagerly.

"Okay,hmmmmm.... Hehe Grayson." Cameron looks to Grayson and begins to smirk.

Oh no.This can't be good.

"Truth or dare."

"Dare."

"I dare you to lick Brandon's foot."

"After we played basketball...twice? Your cruel.But OKAYYY."

Grayson stands up from the floor and kneels down Infront of Brandon.

"You are not seriously doing this?"I watch Brandon take his sock off.

Grayson turns to me."A dares a dare."

He sticks his tongue out and licks his foot.He shoots up on to his feet and runs to the kitchen.

Everyone but Grayson is in stitches.He comes back after a while laughing himself.He plops back down and we continue the game.

"Okay , Ethan truth or dare?" Grayson asks his brother.

"Truth because I don't want to lick anyone's foot."he laughs.

We all laugh while Grayson thinks of a truth.

"What do you think of Kayla?"Grayson wiggles his eyebrows.

I turn red and I think Ethan is aswell.

"Em.Shes nice and very pretty for a girl with no make up on and she's sarcastic which makes her funny." Ethan smiles and so do I.

"Thank you." I smile really wide.

Cameron winks to Ethan with a thumbs up sign while Brandon is glaring at him.

"Okay Cam, Truth or dare?" Ethan asks Cameron.
