KAYLAS P.O.V
"Let me get some ice for that."I run into the kitchen and grab a frozen peas bag from the freezer.I walk back to him and place it on his hand softly.
"Kayla I'm fine." He states.
"No your not fine.No one is fine after they punch some dick head.Your not fine so just put your fucking ego away and deal with that you have a sore hand and you need ice on it." I growl angrily.
Ethan looks taken back by what I said.
"Sorry..."I whisper looking down.
He puts his hand on the pea bag as I take mine off.
"Sweet girl.Maybe it's you who needs to rest.Go to sleep I'll be there in a bit." He smiles down at me.
I lift my head back up.
"No no I have to clean up , you go to my room and I'll be up there in a second." I peck his cheek.
"Okay."he walk upstairs.
I go into the kitchen and wash the dishes.
Suddenly, I hear a door slam.
"Kayla."Grayson whispers while looking at me.
"Grayson."I reply looking shocked.
"I'm sorry about how i acted."he moves closer to me.
"It's fine I deserved it anyways."I frown.
"No you didn't , your wonderful , I'm sorry for being a an ass hat."he moves even closer.Dangerously close...
"It's fine."I take a step back.
He leans in closer and closer....
"Why are you scared?" He steps away from me.
"I- uhhhh..I- I'm not."I turn away from him and do the dishes.
"Okay."he puts his hand on my lower back just above my bum.I jump a little.He rubs my lower back with his hand.
"Nighty night."he laughs and walks upstairs.
Well then...
I finish up In the kitchen and walk upstairs slowly.
"Shit!"I curse as I bang my foot onto the next step.
I continue to walk three more steps and limp up to my room.
I open the door quietly and spot a sleeping Ethan in my bed.
He's so cute oh my lord.I can hear him snoring haha.
I limp to my closet and change in front of him , only because he's asleep.
I change out of my old clothes and put on a long blue t shirt.
I limp to my bed and stub my toe off it.
"JESUS."I shout whisper.I feel and sharp shooting pain all over my big toe.
I hop into bed trying not to scream in pain.
"You okay babe?" Ethan asks quietly.
"Shit , did I wake you?"I reply with another question.
"No I just wanted to watch you get changed.Now are you okay?"
"Your such a pervert.And no my toe hurts."
"Sorry babe can't help it.Lemme help you with that."
He turns around , pulls the covers off us,turns me around to face him, grabs my thigh and places my leg onto his waist.
"Better?" He asks.
"Better."I smile.
We both lean in and kiss for a bit ... A long bit ...

GRAYSONS POV (back at Starbucks.)
She's gone?Where'd she go? I searched the table for clues and saw a napkin with "family emergency I'm so sorry xox - Tara." Scribbled neatly on it.
I sigh and take my frappe to go.
I walked for a while and find myself heading towards the park.
I am sitting in silence blocking out everything around me and focused on my thoughts.
I snap out of it when I see Kayla walking up towards me.
I hear her rant about her anger but don't bother to reply.
She looks at me desperately with her big blue eyes.I want to tell her "it's okay." But it's not.It really isn't okay.Nothing has been okay since I've came to her house.I wish I could travel back in time and fix this.I wish I could... Do things differently and start over.
She blinks away her tears and leaves in anger.I did that to her.I hurt her.If I could take it all back I would.
I sigh and watch my older brother walk up to me.
"Jesus man.Why can't you just accept the fact that SHES SORRY?!AND THAT SHES MINE.God , Bro I love you and I'm always there for you but sometimes you have to back me up , and accept the choices I make.If this were the other way around I would accept you with her and not treat her like trash.This isn't you.But if this is who you wanna be, I'm not gonna accept it.You have my word."Ethan yells furiously at me , making everyone around us stare.He stomps away in the same direction Kayla left.
Well now I feel like shit.
Is it even possible to feel this bad ?
I grab my headphones out of my pocket quickly and plug it into my iphone.I shove the earbuds carefully into my ears and begin to select a song.
I click on 'check yes Juliet.'
I have no idea why I like this song so much.Its basically a song about this guy who's in love with this girl and they run away together.
