KAYLAS POV

The Day Of Heart Break.

"So.your leaving..."I walk up to Grayson.

He turns around and looks at me.He was making sure he had everything packed.

It was currently 4 am.They are leaving in 2 hours.

"Yeah I am."he says slowly.

I walk closer to him and he turns himself completely around.

"I know we aren't exactly friends.But I really hope when you come back we could try."a tear slips from my eye.I hug him and he wraps his arms around me.

I had such a strong connection with him on the first few weeks I met him.But I ruined it.

What if I never kissed Ethan...?

I pull away from him and he crashes his lips onto mine.

GRAYSONS POV

She hugs me.She smells really good.She pulls away.i can't let go

I crash my lips onto hers.I felt a spark,she must've felt it too.We kiss for about 10 seconds.

"Grayson- I um.Ethans my boyfriend and he's your brother."she gulps.

"Oh yeah- I know,um.Sorry."I go red in the face.

She walks out.

Fuck.

KAYLAS POV

I can feel my whole body feel tingly.

Ethan.

I pull away.

"Grayson- I um.Ethans my boyfriend and he's your brother."I gulp.

"Oh yeah- I know,um.Sorry."He turns red.

I walk away and into my room.I see Ethan sitting on my bed with his head in his hands.

"Baby."he looks up staring at me.

"Yeah?"I ask confused.

"I think we em-I think we should.Take a break."he frowns.

I think my heart just cracked.

"Just when I'm on tour.It will be too hard for both of us.I don't want that for you."he continues.

I know I thought of it but I never would've said it.

I just stare at him.I can feel my eyes stinging.

He stands up and walks closer to me.I take a step back.

He looks straight into my eyes.

"What if you go on tour and forget me,what if you forget your feelings for me and find someone new Ethan.This hurts me."I hiss.

"Bab-Kayla,I will come back to you.I just think it's best."

"Yeah you think."I rush out of my room and into brandons.

"hey baby girl."Cameron frowns at me.

"I feel like we didn't spend enough time with eachother."I pout , hugging Cam.

"I will be back and I can promise you,we will do something fun, just the two of us."he smiles, hugging me tighter.

"Ima hold that against you."I grin.

"Haha,you've grown up so much."he kisses my forehead.

"Nah you just got old."

"How dare you?im like 4 years older than you,shush."

"Exactly."

We both burst out laughing and pull away from eachother.

"God I'm gonna miss you."he chuckles.

"Likewise."I smile.

"Kayla."Ethan bursts into the room.

I follow him out of the room and into mine.

"I have exactly 1 hour and 43 minutes before I leave and I'm going to use that time to tell you I love you and I always will."he frowns.

"Your making this sound like a break up...."I cock my eyebrow.

"It's not a break up.When I get back from the tour I'm all yours."he pulls me into a hug.

"You never asked me to go."I say without emotion.

He pulls away.

"Would you come ?"

"No,it just hurts that you never asked."I peck his lips and walk down the stairs.

I see Grayson with his bags packed ready to go.

"Kayla?"he looks at my tear stained face.

"Yeah?"I whisper.

"Are you okay?"he asks.

"I'm fine."my voice cracks.

"No you're not."he pulls me into a hug.My body fits perfectly into his.I melt into him and cry my eyes out.

"He wants to "take a break." Every fucking girl - every- every fucking girl knows that means "I'm b-breaking u-p for real"." I sob.

"Kayla listen to me he loves you.God I've never seen him so into someone before.He adores you,he cares about you and he loves you.When he gets back he'll prove it.Its only 3 months.Cmere , sit down."he guides me to the couch.

We sit down and he had his arm around my shoulders while I sob into his chest.

I stop sobbing and dry my eyes.

"I probably seem so weak and look like a raccoon."I laugh.

"No you don't and you look perfect."He smiles drying my eyes with his thumb.

"I missed this."I sigh.Its like we just went back to our old ways and now he has to leave.

"Hey it's okay.Ill text you everyday and check up on you."he rubs my shoulder.

I was taken aback by how quickly he went back to caring about me.He must've noticed my wide eyes because he kinked his eyebrow.

"Why are you suddenly caring about me?"I shake my head.

"I always care about you,I just have to except the fact that you need a friend and there was no point for me to be mad,I should've asked you out first and not of ignored you."he replies.

"So we can go back to being friends?"I sniffle.

"Yeah."he smiles.

I pull him in for a hug and feel a weight being lifted off of me.

My tummy feels weird when he wraps his arms around my waist.Butterflies?

We let go and I hear someone stomping down the steps.
