ETHANS POV

I go to follow Kayla but hearing her sobs makes my heart break.I didn't mean to upset her,I just want her to move on from me.

She deserves so much better.She doesn't deserve a boyfriend who can barely see her , call her , hold her , text her or kiss her.

I walk slowly down the stairs and hear her sobbing and my brothers voice.I walk down further to see what's going on.Their on the couch and she's cuddled up to him? What the fuck?

I can see their mouths moving but I can't hear anything.

Grayson raises his hands and uses his thumbs to wipe her eye make up off.Then they hug.
It's time to cut in.

I walk down the last 5 steps and all eyes are on me.i reach the bottom of the stair case and glare at them.

KAYLAS POV

Ethan makes his way down the stairs and walks towards us,giving us harsh looks.

"We made up."I smile.

In that moment,I saw his eyes flicker with happiness but soon after fill with envy.

"More like made out."he growls.

"So your calling me a slut?"I scoff , cocking my eyebrow.

"Kayla don't twist my words around."he looks at me with guilt.

"Then don't twist mine".I stand up.

"Why can't you just stop being mad at me.This is our last day we will see each other until the 3 months are over."he sighs running his hand through his hair.

God I love it when he does that.

"I know I'm sorry but why would you tell me , ON THE LAST DAY that you want to take a break or break up or whatever."I screech.

"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU AND I WANTED TO SPEND THE LAST MOMENTS I HAD WITH YOU WITHOUT STRESS."he shouts.

I stay quiet.He never shouts.

"Kayla.I do love you and I don't want to move on but its best for both of us.The past few weeks were the best I ever had , there is still more to come.I'll come back to you."he pulls me in close to him.

"I don't want you to go."I frown.

"I don't want to leave you."he lets go of the hug.

I walk down into the basement with Ethan,we have an extra bedroom down here because me and Cam used to stay down here.

So much has changed, good and bad.

"I didn't know you had this room."he looks around.

I plop onto the bed and smile.

"You'll be 16 soon."I smile.

"And you will be a month after me."he retorts.

"What if I miss your birthday or you miss mine?"I question.

"I'll be here on the 9th of January to wish you a happy birthday,and maybe give you a present."he winks,looking me up and down.

"I might return the present." I giggle.

He hops onto the bed , pins me down and kisses me endlessly.

I kiss back.

"Even though we're a couple of thousand miles apart,our hearts will be with each other." He whispers into the kiss.

"Don't forget me."I beg.

"ETHAN CMON LETS GO!"Cameron shouts from upstairs.

"Sometimes it lasts in love , but sometimes it hurts instead."he quotes a line from 'someone like you'

He takes his body off mine.

He stands up,I copy his action.

I grab onto his cheeks and bring his head down to be level with my face.

I crash my lips onto his and he doesn't deny.I bite his bottom lip seductively.

He pushes my body in closer to his and we make this kiss the most passionate.

We pull away and gasp for air.Considering all the tears I cried he probably tastes them.

"Don't cry baby girl."he kisses my cheek.

I take a deep breath and try my best not to cry anymore.

He pecks my lips for the last time and leaves.I walk up the stairs behind him and watch him look at me for the last time,and whisper "I love you."

He turns back around and closes the door behind him.

He's gone.
And he took my heart with him.
