Exodus 33:14

NIV: The Lord answered, "I myself will go with you, and I will give you victory."

NCV: He Lord replied, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."

Meaning: The Lord says thay he will come with us where ever we go. He will make sure that we have what we need to be well and to complete his plans! People always say that God never gives you more than you can handle. Sometimes I wonder how people can say that when people commit suicide becaude they cant handle life anymore. I have realized it is because they probably do not know God. They don't know him so they cant turn to the Lord in their times of need. They cant find a way out of their distress so they end their lives...which is quite unfortunate. Us, the followers of God constantly seek God in our times if need. He gives us rest when he knows we need it, and he gives us challenges to make us stronger. I found a great video on youtube about a 17 year old boy talking about God forgiving our sins even if we do wrong . Because we all will do wrong. Its in our nature to sin. And in the end he talks about a verse that says to lay our burdens on him so then we can have rest. We cant rest when we are constantly worrying about life and things in life. We need to confess to the Lord so we can rest. I can guarantee you that if you keep your burdens, you will get very exhausted. I remember at camp last year, our counsellors did a skit everyday and they were based on a guy needing to lay down his burdens. He wasn't aloud to get any closer to God or his kingdom without giving his burdens up to Jesus. And when he finally did, he felt amazed and regenerated by this new life and thats how we should feel so so we can rest.
