You could believe it. It was your first day as Kai's wife. You chuckled at the thought of it, turning your attention to the soundly asleep Kai. You chuckled and leaned forward, onserving his facial features up close. He looked much more handsome upclose, in fact, thosr eyebrows. You chuckled again at the thought of this stunning kpop idol as your husband. It all felt like a dream and if it really was, you wished never to wake up.
You did not know that Kai had woken up, staring at you blankly in return. You were just staring into space as you thought about everything that happened last night. The wedding ceremony, walking down the aisle with Kai, hand in hand and the kiss the secured your marriage, forever.
You finally snapped out of your daze when Kai snapped his fingers. You stared at him blankly in shock as he raised an eyebrow. You smiled sheepishly, hiding your face after that, thinking thag he could had saw your dreamy facr, so unglam.
"When d'you wake up?" you asked, stuttering as you looked at him.
"Just a while ago." Kai said calmly.
"Really? Did you see anything?" you smiled widely.
"See what? Did I miss something?" Kai asked, smirking and leanigg forward.
"N-nothing." you chuckled and pulled back.
"Yah, come closer to me." Kai said, signalling you with his index finger.
You did so and inched towards him, leaving inches stil between you two. Kai scoffed and swiftly pulled you towards him, his arm wrapped around your waist. Your lips parted as you gasped, your eyes widened when he bury your face in his chest.
"Yah, don't go too far away from me..." Kai mumbled, stroking your hair.
"Why?" you asked blankly teasing him.
"Aish... You're my wife, you belong to me, so don't you dare let go of my hand." Kai said, holding your hand.
You smiled in his chest and nodded. "Of course oppa, you better not let go of my hand too."
Kai chuckled softly and ruffled your hair. "Yra, promise."
"I love you." you mumbled and hugged him back.
Kai smiled and pressed his lips on your forehead as you smiled and closed your eyes. You knew that Kai will love you forever,even when you're sick or poor, he will never let go of you. That's a promise.
