As I mentioned in the last chapter before going into crazy level maths, the faking was horrible. The user lied for a stupid joke and caused mistrust and a lot of money being spent.
Lying will never get you anywhere. Online, even if it's for a 'joke', is not OK. The user responded to questions about their non-existent cancer and accepted sympathy they didn't deserve. People were very angry with him when they found out it was fake, and that's justified. Millions of people have been affected by cancer, and making a joke of it is insensitive and cruel.
